UpReach bietet neben spannenden Jobs auch eine tolle Arbeitsatmosphäre mit flachen Hierarchien, jungen Mitarbeitern und vielen gemeinsamen Aktionen. Außerdem hat man die Möglichkeit viel zu bewegen und im jeweiligen Themenbereich auch persönlich zu wachsen. Schnell wurde mir ein hohes Maß an Verantwortung übertragen.
Als Startup bietet UpReach natürlich nicht die entspannteste Arbeitswoche und es kam in meinem Praktikum auch gelegentlich zu Überstunden. Allerdings waren die geleisteten Überstunden definitiv im Rahmen und sollten für jeden lernwilligen und engagierten Praktikanten kein Problem darstellen.

Everything is so dynamic and changes really fast and that means that sometimes the projects change, needing to adapt the requirements and to star over again.
Longterm career perspective
The company has three values: Team, Trust and Grow, which basically define perfectly the working atmosphere. Everyone is nice, close and willing to help you with anything you need. Since the moment you arrive you are part of the team and you feel that your work is appreciated.
The company image is consistent and not only shown on the marketing materials or events but also used in everyday work. The best example is seeing how everyone come to work with a smile on the face.
Working -hours are flexible, which gives you some freedom for organising your life. Generally you do not need to do extra hours, but in case you need they are taking into account.
The company is really involved in contributing to your development and support you. Every three months you set your own personal objectives that will help you to improve and expand your skill set. Since it is a Startup everything is related, so you need to consider many different points of view and processes, and this means expanding your knowledge and resources.
Product related there is always so much to do and so many new ideas to create and do your best, but you are still just focus on a field. However, since it is not a big company so at some point your promotion options might be stuck.
The salary for the inters is good compared to other companies.
There is place for improvement here, guaranteeing a great quality requires a lot of testing and that means so much paper wasted for example, but the production is made in the same city, so that makes a difference for the environment.
Everyone is open and friendly. We spend a lot of time together, at lunch or on Fridays, enjoying an atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable.
Currently all the employees are young, so I cannot say much about it.
Your superiors are there to lead you and help you. Always analysing the situation from the bright side they show you how to learn about any inconvenient, helping you to find solutions and to gather experience! Your ideas, opinions and thoughts are always relevant.
They not only show you to develop new skills but also they are an example of how to be a great leader.
They don’t just care about work, they care about people. They always pay attention to your preferences, needs and request. Since it is a Startup there are some points that cannot be sone like in big companies, but they look for ways of improving the working conditions and make you feel as happy as possible.
Efficient communications is really important for the company, so you are in continuous contact with all the departments. This leads you to understand everyones work and task to develop your work from the big picture and achieve the overall goals. Since everyone is so close, it is easy, you never hesitate to ask anyone.
In addition, all the strategic decisions, changes or improvements are communicated to the team as soon as possible so you do not have the feeling that you are missing something and you can have an idea of how is the company going.
Even being an intern you do not have the feeling that you are. You are encouraged to develop relevant task on an independent way. You are responsible of your own projects and everyone will trust you for any topic related to them.
Your salary and working conditions are good, and your work is really appreciated.
A good point is that it is an international team, and that is always super interesting!
Since everything is so dynamic you need to adapt to different types of task that might push you a bit out of your confront zone, which gives you experience in new fields, but of course, your opinion are preferences are taken into account to assign the task. It kind of perfect if you like working on different fields and love challenges.
Team spirit and trust between team members. The atmosphere is not too formal. The help of the team makes everything smoother and easier to work.
The atmosphere at the office is great and friendly! we are all very close team members and can rely on each other.
To me, Upreach is a great multicultural photobooth company, and a brand as well.
Working hours are very flexible, which makes it easier to control your work-life balance.
We get to attend a lot of events, and every month we have team lunches in amazing restaurants that the company pays for. And my experience at Upreach helped me a lot to improve my skills, as one of my supervisors is super talented and taught me a lot of new tips and tricks to make sure my designs are good enough!
As an intern, i believe my salary is pretty good, pays my rent and food.
In my home country, you can rarely find anyone that is vegetarian, but ever since i became part of this team, most of the food i consume is vegetarian, as most of the team members do. They taught me the importance of it. And almost all of them use bikes to transport from one place to another. In addition one of the founders always makes sure that we never consume plastic, and always finds a way to replace plastic products with non-plastic ones.
It's like one big happy family, we are all close friends here, we trust and help each other with everything we can.
The team members aren't that much older than me, so i dont find it difficult to communicate with them, we all understand each other and have similar insights.
The founders are very friendly and close to all team members. My supervisor is always there to help me and makes sure that i'm going on the right track and trusts me with big tasks.
As for the HR, he is very close to all team members, and always there to help with everything.
the office is small and cozy, which makes it easier to communicate with other team members and ask for help. Each team member is provided with a macbook and a computer screen.
The communication here is one of the best, we all know and understand how everyone works, so its easy to understand what others need, without any complication.
Although i am an intern, i am treated like a full time employee, equal tasks and respect.
Upreach works with very big companies, which makes it more interesting to work there. As i have been given big tasks and very interesting ones which benefits me a lot in the future.
