wefox writes many praiseworthy and good things for itself. We are fair, diverse, open, a safe space - and of course have a fantastic product. Sadly, I experienced that none of this is real. It is used to attract talented people that will be hit by reality pretty fast.

I would really like to give constructive feedback, but I know that the executive people working there are very much interested in running the company as i experienced it. So, they like it like that

The climate is tense since over a year now. And the feeling is that it's even getting worse.
Kommunikation
Top-down. And if you are not in a management position, it is expected of you to not have an opinion or say anything.
Also there will always be told lies in the all hands rather than sticking to reality.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
My team was great, we worked close and effective together. It was not appreciated by the manager if we had "too much fun" while working. Whatever that is.
Work-Life-Balance
a lot to do, but with home office still flexible for private life. From time to time the company tries to build up pressure and force people to come back to the office fulltime. I have experienced that 3 times
Vorgesetztenverhalten
my first manager was skilled and a good leader, the following one after that manipulated and destroyed the team. Hysteric emotional outbursts, unfair behavior, having a "favorite" team member, micro-managing until no one could use their expertise anymore and everyone doing exactly as the manager says - that's the managers leading style. Also, don't have an opinion, on nothing. You will get fired.
It is common for management to talk bad about teams behind their backs, even on a very personal level that could overstep every boundry.
Also, no information that you give to hr is safe from management. They get all infos they want, legal or not.
Interessante Aufgaben
After a couple of weeks the tasks repeated themselves over and over until marketing budget was cut. Also this company tends to makes tasks harder than they need to be. feedback loops of 15+ times on daily basis.
Often projects will be started with time sensitive deadlines until suddenly projects gets cancelled. I understand that this can happen. But not on a regular basis every other week.
Implemented structures for agile working are mostly not being used or mis-used.
Gleichberechtigung
this is one of the wefox mantras - but not lived at all. Manager and c-level positions are way up in the hierachy and use that on teams. Also, sexism is a big topic that they should work on and start to take it serious.
I experienced that my management went to the offender and told them about what I said in absolut confidence.
