Kollegialer Zusammenhalt
Offene und freundliche Arbeitsatmosphäre
Abwechslungsreiche Aufgaben
TimeTac is a very supportive company. You feel seen and heard. The fact that there are employees from all over the world is an incredible enrichment and makes working at TimeTac exceptional.
It's normal in any company that sometimes people are laid off. It is not a taboo subject and an even clearer and more appreciative approach regarding employee terminations would be desirable.
Also more remote work would be great (e.g. possibility to work remotely for consecutive weeks like a workation.)
It is important that team leaders also receive training in this area, and you can tell because you are encouraged and receive constructive feedback within the company.
I think people really like working here and they also act accordingly. Company is not so well known so I am not sure how non-employees perceive it.
In this day and age, such an outstanding work-life balance is a rarity. We do not only develop time tracking software—we live by it.
It is clearly shown that there are opportunities for promotion within the company. Even people with less experience but who show a lot of potential are considered. That's great.
Fair salary and great company benefits (free food twice a month, lunch money, health budget, company trips,...)
They are doing a great job. Once a year, a short reminder on how to separate waste properly would be great. So that everyone is on the same page.
It has a great atmosphere, a fantastic team spirit, and colleagues treat each other respectfully and kindly.
The team is relatively young, but no distinction is made as to whether colleagues are older.
collegial leadership with interesting future prospects for the company.
Excellent working environment, beautiful and well-equipped office in the middle of Graz.
Decisions and future plans are communicated transparently. There are regular updates at joint meetings.
No distinction is made, regardless of gender or origin. I've never worked anywhere where equality is such an integral part of the corporate culture and practised in the daily business.
As the company grows, the tasks become more diverse. I love the fact that my work is so varied, it never gets boring.
I've never before experienced such a joyful environment in which both employees and managers have a great relationship with each other. The areas of responsibility are clearly communicated, processes well-documented. The onboarding of new employees is well-thought-of and you also get a buddy to help you get started. In addition, everyone in the company always has an open ear and door if necessary.
for sure there are times that are more intense but all in all work-life-balance is good. as going to work at TimeTac feels quite great with a smile on my face almost everyday, I can say work-life-balance is granted for me.
Working in your free time is an absolute no-go here. If you feel like you're taking work home with you (even mentally), the team leads are always ready to listen and offer solutions.
Definitely opportunities for further training, but also opportunities for promotion.
Fair salaries, regular possibilities to negotiate. Additionally TimeTac offers various benefits, e.g. meal vouchers, initiatives for mental and physical health and more.
the team spirit within the team and across teams is not only present but extraordinary!
very young team therefore I cannot say a lot here but what I can state is that each and everyone is treated the same appreciative way.
I have been able to address everything so far, and I don't feel like I have to leave out any topics.
Very open discussion culture and respectful, appreciative behavior.
great, modern office in the city center of Graz including a rooftop terrace. The equipment is state of the art and can largely be determined/chosen by the employees themselves.
Overall very good. Where there is necessity to improve, energy is put in. Regular team-meetings with updates what each department is in at the moment. Regular meetings and also 1:1 meetings with teamleads to give and receive worthy feedback.
TimeTac is very aware of the need for equality and acts accordingly. The increase in the number of female employees and team leaders also underlines this, especially as a company in the IT sector, TimeTac is trying to push this intensively.
Very varied area of responsibility and an incredible amount of learning potential. Both from a professional and a personal perspective.
- work life balance
- great product
- great company culture
- increase home office days
- create more career opportunities
Of course it is hard to get an objective view if people are happy. But in my subjective view it feels like people enjoy working here, especially in my departement.
Two days working from home is a little short for the industry standard in the IT sector, but the balance is right, I feel I have enough time for my private life without constantly thinking about work, as my superiors ensure a strict distance from work in my free time in an honest way.
There are great examples of passionate interns who got promoted very early in their career. Employees' talents are recognised and integrated across departments, some of them developing to the role of a teamlead.
But in some cases there are limited options to develop.
Fair - Bi Weekly Brunches (paid by tue company), Money for food for every day in the office, a good health budget, an in-house masseur and anonym psychologist sessions
C Level is very strict about waste seperation ;)
Of course there is the usual friction between the departments, but the teamleads handle them with caution and foresight.
The team leads are aware of the stress involved in this type of work and therefore act in a respectful and supportive manner.
Important news are handled with care and professionalism.
- The product
- The working place/office
- Company trips and events
- Onboarding of new employees including welcome package
- Benefits like food allowance, health budget (e.g., inhouse-Shiatsu), etc.
Home office days two times a week is okay, but in 2023 this is no longer sufficient – especially when you are in the software industry.
The employment reference that I received after having worked for the company for more than 5 years did not meet basic requirements.
There is no real career path for employees who want to earn more money long term. If people want to earn significantly more, they either have to take over responsibility for a team/department or leave the company.
The management often declares that self-reflection is important for team leads, but does not question their own decisions and behavior.
The way very loyal colleagues, who had worked many years for the company, got dismissed is questionable and kind of respectless.
If employees are dismissed, they are – in some cases – being treated like criminals and do not even get the chance to say goodbye to their colleagues.
- Be more honest with your employees
- Stay behind your team leads even if situations are challenging
- Become more flexible regarding home office and remote work – it's a software company
- Live regarding the company values -> Walk the Talk!
- Create an environment that allows different opinions -> groupthink
The colleagues are friendly and supportive. Also, the team spirit is ok. However, the HR department often causes unrest and uncertainty among colleagues. I also witnessed several occasions where colleagues did not agree with management decisions but did not dare to speak up during company meetings because of fear of consequences. There were examples where they could see what would happen if they had a different opinion.
Depending on the department employees are in, the options are very limited.
The salary is just average. If employees ask for a raise, they need to be very careful how to ask for it.
Poor leadership
Overall, pretty good. Nice office in the city center of Graz. Equipment like computers, monitors, etc. can be chosen by the employee.
Regular company wide meetings, including a free lunch, to get insights into business development and work done by other teams. Also food vouchers are a big plus. There is an annual health budget, which can be spent on free Shiatsu massages, which are really great.
There is nothing really bad.
Improve communication on how certain decisions have been made. Especially when a colleague is let go. Don't take negative feedback too personal.
The overall atmosphere and solidarity between colleagues is exceptional. Sure, issues arise once in a while, but are usually sorted out quickly.
TimeTac is a growing company. If you were to talk to a random person on the street, they probably would not know the brand. However, in the time tracking industry, it is well recognized - especially in the german speaking area.
Overall great, but could be improved. The company has a rather strict understanding of home office. This is understandable and well explained, but also somewhat limits personal flexibility at times. However, exceptions are made for special occasions, such as doctor's appointments. In general this is a rather tricky topic and adjustments are difficult and it's probably impossible to make everyone happy.
There is a certain budget availably to every employee. Upon approval from a direct manager, certain training is granted.
Inflation is not the company's fault, but still affects everyone. I suppose the majority of employees is rather happy with their compensation. There are no bonuses based on performance, but the reason for that has been communicated clearly.
Colleagues are not always friends, but this does not mean, that collaboration can not be done professionally. Everyone should respect, that sharing information about private life is an individual's choice.
Based on age, there is definitely no negative treatment.
It's impossible to work without ever making a mistake. I've never experienced any rude, violent (verbal) behavior and everyone involved is interested in resolving problems.
Office is large and nice. Airconditioning keeps everyone cool during hot summer days. If there is an issue, facility management is resolving it rather quickly. Required maintenance work is properly communicated in advance.
Management holds recurring meetings /events for employees and those in higher positions to keep everyone informed and up to date. Sometimes certain decisions could be communicated in more detail, especially when a colleague is let go. This does not happen very frequently, but when it does, it is not always comprehensible for everyone, especially those in other departments.
Never experienced anyone being treated in an unfair way.
It depends on which department you work in and sometimes tasks are repetitive. This is nothing unusual and not really the company's fault. Overall, management keeps a good focus on growth and tries to penetrate new markets.
Kein Top-down sondern Transparenz wo möglich!
Pretty good. Very Open people.
Great office. Possibly the best in all of Graz.
Communication between teams could be better.
Atmosphäre ist sehr entspannt, gleichzeitig geht was weiter. Optimale Kombination.
Offene Kommunikation in regelmäßigen firmenweiten Meetings.
Es werden definitiv alle gleich behandelt.
So verdient kununu Geld.
