Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Deloitte tries seriously to constantly improve, and in 90% of the cases makes year-on-year good progress, which is leading to a highly professional organization.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Deloitte as international organization is a mess, cross-border collaboration is hindered by a small-garden-unit way of organizing. The partner leadership principles are dinosour-age, the company truly struggles to formally delegate responsibilities below partner level. And if a partner brings money, toxic behaviour is tolerated for long.

Communication exists on all levels, tends to be more "professionally" positive then honest and straight forward

Work-Life-Balance

actually work-life-balance improved a lot over the last years, home office is widely accepted, long or normal working hours depend mostly on project / client environment and change.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

The weakest point - Deloitte put a handful seriously toxic partners in their top leadership team, pushing a me-first, private equity culture with little considerations for anything else but their own benefit. The ordinary partner leadership culture is very ok and monitored for role-model compliance. Just on the top this control seems not to work.

Interessante Aufgaben

As you would expect in a leading international consulting firm - interesting project do exist quite a lot, but not every project is actually interesting.

Gleichberechtigung

Yes and no. Yes Deloitte promotes women, diversity, wokeness, everything that is in current HR trend. But if you are a white heterosexual male it feels you are only getting 45% chances these days.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

Deloitte has no systematic approach to find jobs for people internally that outgrow their role in the team they are in. So it happens that you get fired on one side while other teams are hiring similiar skills to your on the next team. And there is certainly no ethical objective to allow long standing colleagues to make it through the final years into retirement.
