Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Can help your career if EY stands on your CV but that's about it for me.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

- Salary
- Coaching
- Culture in general.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

- Invest in the future and try to encourage the younger generation
- Adapt salary to people who have more work experience
- New KPI: People Management, so that the Counselors are responsible to actually manage their Counselees.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

Almost everyone is too busy to teach the younger generation anything.

Kommunikation

It really depends who your counsel is - if you're lucky it can be a good time otherwise you don't want to waste your time.

Work-Life-Balance

Also depends on who you're working with. I have seen everything: a few are able to work more or less normal hours, mostly Consultants, but the higher you go, the worst it gets - Work-Life-Balance is definitely not on the table.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Also depends on your Counsel and the Partners. I've seen some good people to work with but I've also experienced the opposite and this can become really frustrating really quickly.

Interessante Aufgaben

On Consultant-level you basically have no responsibility. They can make it appear as if you're responsible or an important part of the team, but don't forget how they operate - fluctuation is party of their daily business.

Arbeitsbedingungen

Hardware and place of work is a joke...the building looks fancy from the outside but the work stations are quite old, there is not enough space for people, you have to buy your own laptop mouse and keyboard etc.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

Not really, if you see who the clients are.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

That depends, if you directly start to work there after University then I would say it's a good salary. But if you already have a few years of working experience and you have to start at Consultant-level then definitely not.

Image

If you want to have the lifestyle "Work Hard, Play Hard" then this is the place to be. If you have family, hobbies or just a normal life...then you won't be in for the long run.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Yes, you can increase your level every year, if you don't mess anything up but a few KPI's are just ridiculous.
