One aspect of the company that I found challenging was the response to concerns raised to HR and management. Despite numerous complaints being brought to their attention, there was a tendency to downplay or dismiss these issues, giving the impression that everything was running smoothly. I believe that a more proactive approach in acknowledging and addressing these concerns would greatly benefit the company and contribute to a more positive work environment. It is my hope that by directly confronting and resolving these issues, the company can strive for improvement and foster a more transparent and supportive workplace culture.

In considering opportunities for improvement, I believe it would greatly benefit the company to take the concerns of its employees more seriously. It is essential for HR to shift their focus from solely supporting the company's interests to also prioritizing the well-being and satisfaction of the employees. By conducting a thorough examination of the reasons behind high turnover rates, frequent terminations, and employee absenteeism due to illness, the company can gain valuable insights into areas requiring attention. By fostering a workplace culture that prioritizes the well-being and treatment of its employees, the company can create a more stable and positive environment, ultimately reducing turnover rates and promoting employee retention.

The work environment at this company was extremely negative and toxic. Management played employees against each other, creating a culture of fear that made it difficult for anyone to speak up.

Gaslighting was a common tactic to used to avoid taking responsibility or criticism.

Despite the challenges, the employees stuck together and supported each other during those difficult times.

Work-Life-Balance

There were some challenges with the approval process for vacations, as management occasionally took longer than desired to approve time off. Additionally, there were instances where I had to work extended hours to meet deadlines.

I found the lack of support from management to be a significant issue during my time at this company. There was a noticeable absence of management presence in the studio, which made it difficult to address concerns or provide feedback. Unfortunately, when criticism was offered, it was met with defensiveness and personal attacks, rather than constructive dialogue. This reactionary behavior, combined with gaslighting tactics, created a challenging and unsupportive work environment.

The turnover of employees was high, with no senior employees due to constant quitting or firing.

The company presents itself as fair and supportive towards its employees, appearing to genuinely care about their well-being. However, it became apparent that the company's actions did not align with these values. Employees were often utilized to their full capacity until reaching a breaking point, only to be discarded once their usefulness was perceived to have diminished, despite their dedicated efforts and hard work for the company.
