The people and the products. No doubt about it.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

Skilled, talented and engaged employees must be identified, empowered and developed. Connect employees to the end product to create a sense of purpose. Sonova is a good company but "a school is as good as the teacher you get"

Arbeitsatmosphäre

Micro-management instead of true leadership. No trust or empowerment. No recognition or appreciation. No room for innovation. (It applies to my department)

Kommunikation

Unclear strategy, goals and objectives. No transparency and no alignment between the parts. Silo mentality.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

No team-cohesion as a consequence of poor leadership. Crossfunctional collaboration can be great but you have to actively connect the parts.

Work-Life-Balance

Great Home office regulation and lots of flexibility. Unfortunately employee overtime is not addressed by manager. High burnout risk for engaged employees.

No leadership skills. See ratings above.

Interessante Aufgaben

Interesting role with great opportunites to create value. Unfortunately there is no real interest in creating value in a sustainable way. Tick-the-box, quick-fix and short-term mentality.

Women are represented on many levels including Managment board.

Fair share of 50+ employees. No negative observations

Arbeitsbedingungen

Infrastructure is very good (including pool in the roof, which unfortunately nobody uses) and regularly mantained and improved. It and Technology has a lot of room for improvement. Tools, processes and support should be looked at.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

Great initiatives and solutions in regards to environmental sustainability (CO Emissions, E-mobility, solar energy and many more) and corporate responsibility (Volunteering opportunities, Hear the World Fundation, etc)

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Fair compensation. Room for improvement in terms of fair and meaningful benefits to meet different needs.

Big gap between image communicated during the recruiting phase and reality. This is clearly noticable on the first week, including the onboarding.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Learning and development: Good ideas but better collaboration between strategy and implentation is essential. No real way to identify and develope top performers or future leaders.
