Not a good place, despite efforts to build a good image.
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Colleagues. Most people are really good.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Official "values" are more about painting a good image. Hot desking setup is dehumanising, you're just a tool, a number, you don't matter - the exact opposite of the "we care" value.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
Improve communication. Be transparent. Listen to feedback and show that you actually care. Pay for performance: if you get a very positive review from your manager, but a salary increase that doesn't even match inflation, is that paying for performance? Improve the office environment: partition the open plan offices into smaller areas (max 6-8 people), and above all give back assigned desks for everyone and cancel the hot desking setup!
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Chaotic, a lot of silo-working. Saving money everywhere is priority.
Kommunikation
Very poor communication. A lot of projects under internal NDAs, so that colleagues cannot speak about them, which definitely gives a bad taste.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
My colleagues are wonderful, despite everything.
Work-Life-Balance
Mostly fine.
Interessante Aufgaben
Work can be interesting, but you need to be lucky and have a good manager.
Gleichberechtigung
There lot of emphasis on that, because it's good for rankings... Also, it's basically only focused on women, probably because that's what rankings are currently focused on.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Noisy open plan office spaces. And to make it worse, recently converted to hot desking, despite there would be enough space to give everyone their own desk. Now it's just horrible and dehumanising.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
Good, but just because it's important for marketing reasons.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Below average.
Image
It's all about the external appearance - management is very good in painting a good image for the outside. Reality is different, and company values are often just slogans on paper. "We build the best team" - but then we rely a lot on external consultants instead of valuing and growing internal expertise. "We care" - and then we get dehumanising hot desking setup to tighten the psychological grip on employees and show who's in charge. As an employee you're just a number - the company doesn't care.
