Great employer with overly complicated processes

Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Great working environment, modern offices, lot of activities for personal health, great training opportunities, stunning social plan (really!), lots of benefits.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Complaining on a very high level, but the enforcement of on-site work is no longer appropriate in times of digitalization and remote work. Career is possible, but has major hurdles.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

Simplify the processes for salary and especially promotion. Dismiss the enforcement of on-site work.

Work-Life-Balance

They really care about work-life-balance.

Arbeitsbedingungen

Forced on-site work 2 days / week

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Entry salary is great, but has some room for improvement since exceptional salary raises or promotions are rather difficult to achieve (complicated process)

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Great possibilities for training, but don't count with a promotion. Decision for promotion is made by a board, consisting of people that barely know you or your skills. But if you get through this barrier, you can make a good career.

Dear former colleague

Thank you for your positive assessment of Swisscom as an employer.
I am very pleased that you appreciate our office space, our many training opportunities and our benefits.

Thank you also for your suggestion for improvement. I would like to address one point right away:
We offer our employees a lot of flexibility when it comes to organising their working day. You can work in the office, at home, on the road or in a coffee shop around the corner. However, to ensure a strong corporate culture and to integrate new employees into the teams, we require employees to work in the office at least two days a week.

I would be happy to talk to you if you have any further input on the home office regulations or other topics. I will be happy to answer your questions.

All the best and best regards
David
