There has never really been a vision and guidance for the employees. If you’d ask the employees what appliedAI‘s mission is, you would get all kinds of different answers. This company grew way too quickly with the arrogance of the management team. Now they had to let people go instead of cutting a part of their own high salaries or letting the managers go who made some of the devastating mistakes that led the company to this point. In addition to the horrendous mistakes of a few manager, there are also a few who have a very toxic work attitude (mobbing, shouting, condescending etc.). There are anonymous surveys on the managers but there has been zero consequences. Unfortunately HR will always stick with management and not help out if an employer has an issue.

Horrible communication in any matter. In staff meetings management really love listening to themselves praising the company even though it would be better to approach things with a more down to earth attitude.

Most managers need to be replaced. Most of them don’t know what they are doing, some are known for their toxic behavior and also many have no experience in leading a team. Sad that HR also never took anything seriously.
