Before promoting people to the management level make sure they actually have the skills to lead people properly. Most of the time they had a hard time actually listening to people.

You need to be like everybody else, no individual approach, no questioning, no disagreeing

It was very good when it came to communicating future plans and goals. The issue was understanding the "whys" behind them and most of the time there were no proper explanations. "Because we decided so" is not an answer

Decision-making was not clear, the team was not included, and you just should do whatever is decided, without arguing

Even if I wasn't given interesting tasks I always had some freedom to create my own interesting tasks

The hierarchy was strongly accented, same level people had equal rights

No salary raise according to the inflation. It was endless fighting and discussions around salary raises which in 80% of cases failed.
