Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

The colleagues are actually mostly very good people and professionals. Also, flexible working hours.

It is my opinion that the ways people are let go are apathetic and demeaning. I think the ideals of the company are just words and are not really put into concrete actions.

Listen to the employees' concerns, leadership should be held more accountable for goals not met.

Not really a great environment in my opinion. I personally believe the company has shown time and time again that the people, in opposition to what the company says, are not important.

I think the image the company tries to give is very different from what it actually is. Not a desirable place to work in my opinion, and also I think not really that advanced in terms of product. Also, I believe asking employees to leave surveys on Kununu for a possible money prize (after providing a screenshot of the review) should be a red flag.

My impression is that people can have for a long time extremely high responsibilities without being promoted to the appropriate level. Also, it is my opinion that the career system is very prone to interpretation.

First of all, thank you for taking the time to write this review and sharing your open feedback.

We are very proud of our team and appreciate it greatly that you also believe we have a wonderful team of passionate professionals. Avi Medical wouldn’t exist without them, us, and you.

Your review will help us reflect, and we will use it to further improve and create a working space where people can thrive. As you well know, reflection & learning are everyday exercises for us. We take the time to understand our team’s feelings and thoughts through our trimestrial Engagement Surveys and Action Planning sessions, all the Roadshow workshops where everyone and anyone can openly share their feedback, and every other Townhall and Slack message where colleagues are invited to share their candid and constructive questions, thoughts, and feedback.

However, we would also like to contribute to this feedback exchange you kindly opened. We know we are not perfect and we still have a way to go. We also want to point out that we do not feel well represented in your description.

We take the time to support our employees leaving the company and be there for them as they orient themselves towards other employers. We listen and act accordingly when it’s clear things definitely need to be changed. We work hard to transform what was merely a concept on paper less than three years ago into a functional product and a team of outstanding medical specialists that assist our patients to be well and happy. Perfection? Certainly not. Respect, humility, learning from our mistakes, holding our leaders accountable—definitely yes.

Regarding the salary part, we are very glad to let you know that we just finished our annual salary benchmarking exercise. As you are aware, we do have a transparent salary system that is created based on market data, and its development is based on information on how the salaries of relevant job profiles in the market have developed over the last 6 to 12 months. We have seen that for the majority of roles, salaries have not been developing or even decreasing despite inflation happening. Based on this and the decision we made to pay our employees above average compared to the market standard, we have made the decision to not increase our salary framework structurally. Nevertheless, every employee had the opportunity to develop their salary based on their individual performance, meaning there are quite a substantial number of employees who received an increase.

And, yes, we ventured to ask our own team to help other job searchers with their perspectives, such as this one here, which we still very much appreciate. And we will probably ask again because it is common (and quite healthy) practice that every other employer out there does it, and it’s a great ice-breaker for internal or external (in this case) dialogue.
