Good employer for a few years - but not in the long run
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Location
International community
Offices & canteen
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Communication
Decision paralysis
Verbesserungsvorschläge
there is an annual employee survey that more or less showed the same results over the last years. Just take the feedback seriously and do something about it.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
In general: nice colleagues and a big international community.
work wise: lot of self-induced unnecessary complexity and political games
Kommunikation
a lot to improve here: no chance to clarify orders. It‘s simply not wanted. My boss simply told me, that is how we work here.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
yes! Definitely, especially among the international community. We were all facing the same problems
Vorgesetztenverhalten
On a personal level, I never had issues with my boss.
I personally think, the middle management also suffers a lot. Every decision comes from senior management not giving them space to breathe
Interessante Aufgaben
well, it depends. Most of my time I was working on projects that seemed to be interesting, but internal project management culture and collaboration with the shared service center made them to little nightmares
Gleichberechtigung
There are activities to close the gender pay-gap and to bring more women and internationals into leadership positions. Everyone not belonging to one of these groups might have a difficult time.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
The company promotes young and diverse teams.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Nice campus, very tasty canteen dishes, good reporting tools
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
small steps into the right direction
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
I was really happy with the salary when I joined Beiersdorf. But it was impossible to keep up with the annual inflation rates.

Karriere/Weiterbildung
The main reason to leave if you want to have a career and some personal growth and progress. All in all very intransparent.
Trainings are limited to online resources. Very few colleagues were allowed to travel to conferences or some external trainings.
