Personal opinion after many years in the German employment market: it is good to bring the North American idealism into the Company. Corporate identity makes it easier to work with one another.
Kommunikation
As in every large company, the important information sometimes takes too long to leak down to the lower levels. Similarly, when suggestions from the lower levels are made, they get stopped in the middle before even getting the chance of going to a higher level. But the „normal“ communication between employees and their direct managers is normally very good.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Excellent in all aspects.
Work-Life-Balance
Normal working hours Monday to Friday with an AOG service ...... all in all, worth the 5 star rating.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Direct supervisor.... excellent. As you climb the corporate ladder however, a distinct arrogance starts taking over. Normal in most larger corporations.... here no different.
Interessante Aufgaben
With new restructuring taking place, the job descriptions do not fully represent the tasks. This however is being worked on.
Gleichberechtigung
Men, women, foreigners and handicapped. All treated the same.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Older colleagues are respected for their knowledge. However the older colleagues shouldn’t let their knowledge get to their heads. Older colleagues should sometimes be more patient with new and younger colleagues. Rome wasn’t built in a day.

Excellent
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
Government regulations make it in many aspects a very environmentally sound employer. There are still some quirks, but in general very good.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Not above average, but not minimum wage. Your qualifications and work experience make the wage acceptable.

Karriere/Weiterbildung
As I am relatively new with Boeing, I can see many different career steps from within the company. Whether I wish to go in a different direction, depends on me. But at the moment, I am happy where I am at Boeing.
