Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Work benefits, interesting and learning impacts from internal workshops to improve competence

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

1. People get fired without any real reason, for example, asking to work partly at home even though it is a common working model and aligns with their work policy. The managers don't inform them in advance nor without any message from the HR. One may ask to leave immediately.

2. High-level meetings were by far not productive, no real database to support the discussions and they missed many points on how to run things better. This showed the lack of knowledge and understanding of the managerial employees about education in non-profit and tech. Also, no documentation of the meeting. Things were shared verbally so it felt like there was no transparency.

3. Micromanagement was real in the local office which disrupts psychological safety.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

1. HR should be much more pragmatic and proactive in helping employees to adapt especially in the intercultural context.

2. The org can do much better to understand the current market and how to run proper education programs! e.x. set realistic expectations with their mandates

Arbeitsatmosphäre

The organization presented itself during the onboarding as a start-up. It is a large org so the culture and atmosphere can vary from team to team and from location to location.

Overall it is a friendly place but the atmosphere in the local office was not very uplifting, people only greeted each other with one word.

Kommunikation

In the local team, the communication was harsh especially feedback conversations. There was no such thing as constructive feedback that should motivate and empower employees.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

I came from the techEd and business development sector with years of work experience and was treated like an intern.

Work-Life-Balance

Expectation to work overtime

Vorgesetztenverhalten

I would prefer not to give any star in this category. The worst experience I have ever encountered in my professional life in non profit sector. There was a lack of respect and awareness of intercultural competence.

Interessante Aufgaben

The work is dynamic and fast paced. It was exciting and one can learn a lot.

Gleichberechtigung

Their image of diversity and inclusion is only superficial

Arbeitsbedingungen

Fair

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Way too low and no transparent salary model

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
