Observations on the cost of over-control

The past, when the team cohesion among employees as I saw it was excellent.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Demicon nowadays seems more focused on managing work rather than engaging in the work itself and approaching it with agility.
I perceived a growing emphasis on control and micromanagement, which seemed to overshadow customer-oriented business processes and improvements.

From what I last saw they are already learning from their mistakes of their stringent control measures.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Once good, but in my view has been getting progressively worse over the last year. It feels to me like it's transforming into a classic corporate hierarchy environment. Some of the best employees already decided to leave by themselves.
Kommunikation
Officially, the company claims to desire open communication. However, responses to criticism are vague, which in my opinion, shows the uncertainty of middle and upper management in dealing with staff.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Still the best part of the company, a credit to the teams. However, from what I've seen has been slowly deteriorating due to the new mindset attracting different and more competitive behavior.
Work-Life-Balance
It strikes me that client utilization, coupled with a new emphasis on internal control checks and approvals - aka micromanagement, restricts any potential improvement in this area.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Personally I think that the lack of leadership experience or methods is now starting to show its negative effects. Leadership training for these positions has been long overdue, yet, like many issues, it has remained stuck in a cycle of delay. Furthermore, the recent shift towards promoting more conformist individuals into leadership roles seems to have fostered a tendency to favor those who readily agree.
Interessante Aufgaben
There were great projects. Focus has in my view shifted on classic labor leasing though.

Almost no women in the management.

As it seems they are too expensive now for the company.

Once good, now focused on whats demanded for the best KPI.
