Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

At the forefront of new technologies and projects with plenty of great customers.
Very interested in novel and sustainable novel ingredients.

Company grows and grows on a national but also global level! Therefore, plenty of possibilities and endless choices (in theory)

Decent canteen, fair prices, nice meeting rooms

Verbesserungsvorschläge

HR needs to provide a real career path/professional development for young people as so so many young, talented and great people leave the company continuously to join bigger companies.
Onboarding needs to be improved, as well as clear salary increases.

In general, very old way of culture, very top-down and leaders talk first/speak the loudest. Often very reactive to B2C trends and not so much focus on real innovation

Arbeitsatmosphäre

If you like to work a lot, bring in your own ideas, drive the business, directly want to learn a lot after university, Döhler is the perfect place. Plenty of challenges and so many possibilities with endless customers. On the hand, no clear focus and missing in-depth understanding, no access to the newest market data and often long(er) hours to work.
Colleagues are often nice and happy to support, very international environment and plenty of diversity on the low/normal levels which basically doesn’t exist at higher levels.
Crazy fluctuation and many young kids from the university who work hard but can’t offer a lot of knowledge yet but the culture is bringing in young talent for a few years, and repeat

Kommunikation

Very top down
Information from board and CEO every quarter but barely broken down from leaders for normal staff
Onboarding very chaotic
Plenty of internal hubs and communication among the different departments has to improve

Kollegenzusammenhalt

Some very nice and supportive colleagues, some not so nice people.
You need very strong contacts within the company to navigate successfully and get things moving

Work-Life-Balance

Plenty of projects at the same time, lots of customers on a global basis, so emails fly in all the time. Visibility on-site is recommended heavily by many leaders to get promotions/more salary etc

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Some very good ones, plenty of people who don’t like to lead (clearly don’t want to spread wings) and develop their team but sit since a long time on their positions.

Interessante Aufgaben

If you want to work on cool, futuristic topics, it’s a great company.

Gleichberechtigung

Not many women in high positions, dominated by male/white/(old) colleagues . Salaries seem to be very different

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

Not too many older colleagues still in the company, therefore hard to judge

Some new and nice offices, some older ones with no open windows and sauna-like temperatures in summer.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Very low for normal staff and low/middle management for the amount of work which is required/expected

Reputation in the food industry needs to be built up

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Changes/promotions internally are sometimes available but new people are preferred to bring in a new mindset. Internal promotions with barely any increase in salary
