Management not trustworthy
Verbesserungsvorschläge
So long management believes their own bs there's little hope.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Two rounds of layoffs in six months. After the first round "to save money", management created a new C-level position. Of course, they were unaffected by the second round of layoffs, unlike other key staff. Speaking of the second layoff round, it was poorly managed and unnecessarily cut short that proper handovers were near impossible.
Kommunikation
All-hands meetings are the management's tool of distributing their view on the world. Critical questions not welcomed.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Within each department and team people have their backs.
Work-Life-Balance
Strict setting of ones own boundary is required, then it is okay.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Direct managers are usually very approachable.
Senior management is a different story, though.
Interessante Aufgaben
Routine on the one hand, on the other hand due to lack of strategy and meaningful planning, everything suddenly becomes urgent.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
They don't exist. It's a "young dynamic startup".
Arbeitsbedingungen
So many meetings. One can easily get by a day without getting anything done.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
Upon questioning to fly 4 people to the COP in Dubai, management commented "We're doing so much good, that the effect is negligible". And there's more events that people are traveling to, which could easily be held via video conference. So much for a "we are saving the world from climate change" startup.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Salary was okay. Besides that, there's been the occasional company events. Other benefits (like D-Ticket) had been promised to implement upon reaching goals. Those goals were never reached.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Until recently there was no career development path.
In order to get access to training, one had to follow a convoluted and poorly documented process or be friends with the right people.
