Direct and open communication and transparency is key in the day-to-day on board. In the hybrid/remote set-up, Slack is the main communication tool
Besides (daily) team check-ins and weekly 1:1s, and constant feedback loops, each department and the co-founders share the latest hick-ups/learnings AND successes so everyone is aligned in what's going on. Moreover, the founders do open coffee chats with every team on a monthly basis as well as anonymous feedback formats are well-established.

Work-Life-Balance
Besides classical (start-up) peak times and some relevant team meetings, we can schedule our day completely by ourselves, the opposite of micro-managing. In the hybrid/remote setup, it's very trustworthy and flexible working hours, whereas overtime can be balanced out easily over time. ;) By this, we have many parents on board, planning the day around the kids and maintaining a healthy work-life-balance.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
It's a great leadership team! A great mix of more senior/experienced colleagues and also 'emerging leaders'. Of course, there is always room for improvement in such a young company. So each 'younger' leadership person by default accompanies an emerging leadership program to grow with Edurino. More experienced leaders likewise do constant trainings and support others growing.
Interessante Aufgaben
After a well structured onboarding, it's a great mix of day-to-day tasks and strategic side projects, everyone on board owning KPIs/OKRs in high self-responsibility. Besides the 'normal work', there's always enough 'playground to play on' for bringing up own ideas, and often realizing them very quickly as we're not fans of many approval processes.

Here's something cool: at the moment, there are actually more women leading the way in our teams than men. We're not just talking about equal rights, we're living it every day (as a female-led company).
Arbeitsbedingungen
We do have a nice office space in Haidhausen (Munich), a current co-working space in Berlin, and besides those options, everyone can work from anywhere - there is never pressure on coming into the office.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
Our purpose of making a change in the educational sector is in the focus here! Regarding the products' sustainability: our ergonomic pen is already produced in Germany using bio-material, and we already think about a more sustainable production of the figurines.

Karriere/Weiterbildung
There's a variety of career and growth opportunities on board. Nevertheless, as a start-up, there's always room for improvement for this section. The HR team is currently about to implement a professional growth framework for each position which will then be part an integral part of the feedback framework on board.
