Working at ELLI can be 100% remote; however, the policy regarding working from abroad is exceptionally strict, with no exceptions for a specified number of days during the year, unlike many other companies. Furthermore, it seems that this policy is rigorously enforced. Unfortunately, this discrepancy in remote work flexibility creates an inequality that affects expats, preventing them from enjoying the same level of employment rights as those whose families are situated in Germany.
