Verbesserungsvorschläge
The pressure probably comes from investors. This seems to have led to the management in charge always falling into blind actionism and constantly having to throw everything overboard. On a human level, it would make sense to show more presence in the teams. Professionally, to develop clear road maps and stick to them. There would be a lot to change. The management does not seem to have the maturity and experience to act at this level.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Very sterile. There is no money for socializing events. Very chummy on the facade, but really it's all about meeting management's targets so they can get their bonus.
Kommunikation
There is no communication or it is too late. In my experience, people are moved wildly from one team to another in personnel planning without first clarifying whether this is a good fit. The Head of Product had a thousand roles, was overwhelmed with all of them and was therefore a constant bottleneck.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
The colleagues are very experienced and try to solve the problems. During my time, they were all committed and had lots of ideas for solutions. However, everyone moaned about the poor planning and the actionism without a goal or foresight. This led to a lot of frustration during my time there.
Work-Life-Balance
That was ok in itself. However, the lack of prioritization of topics led to many parallel tasks that I could not mentally complete when I left the office.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Flat hierarchies in principle. Instead, everything was centrally focused on one person who, in my opinion, had weaknesses in people management. Micro-management and a lack of trust in the teams meant that tasks were not completed quickly and efficiently. Road maps were agreed, but because something “unforeseen” always happened, everything had to be overturned. New priorities were set on a daily basis, some of which contradicted each other. There was no time for questions, as the central person took over everything and could not be contacted when questions arose. There was no interest in developing Product Managers further. There was neither constructive criticism nor comprehensible feedback. What was being worked on and what the mission was never really became clear.
Interessante Aufgaben
Overall, the task of building a new platform is very exciting. However, due to the lack of planning, the task became an ever-increasing tangle of overlapping issues.
Gleichberechtigung
There were women in the teams. However, none in management positions on the B2B side. Therefore mixed. In general, I feel that EV has a certain glass ceiling when it comes to women and careers.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
There were no colleagues aged 50 or older.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Lots of open-plan offices and too few opportunities to make a video call undisturbed.

Brokers generally do not have the best reputation. In addition, there is said to have been a lot of fluctuation at management level at Technology. Therefore, there is no established corporate culture.

I didn't realize that there was any interest in developing people. The aim is to increase value for investors, not to achieve individual goals.
