The team leader that thinks he knows everything

2.I always dreamed about visiting Africa. In many countries around the world, including my country, all African countries, the US and the UK,etc, we are used to talk to strangers everywhere, in the public transport, in the cue while waiting to buy bread, in the beach, etc… we don’t go through life with long faces. Those young African men were very respectful and politely asked me about my country and I asked about Africa and we had innocent and funny conversations throughout our shift and at the same time doing our job the best way possible. Then the team leader started walking up and down and looking at me with a terrible expression but I kept doing my job. The place I was standing was full of cheese and my foot was getting stuck on the floor. I asked one of those African men where the cleaning tools were because my intention was to clean that place later. He said “I’m going to show you” and we walked to the place where the tools were hanging. My mistake. We encountered the team leader and again he looked at me in a way that I knew he was going to fire me and I wasn’t wrong. When the shift finished he came and pointed to the two African men and said “You and you will work tomorrow” and pointed to me and in front of my colleagues and in a very rude way told me to not come back. He thought I was looking for men or something like that. Strange that he fired the woman but not the men for talking while working. Nobody told me that if you are a woman working at Freiberger you can’t talk to your male colleagues.
I lost excellent jobs in Germany because I refused to go to bed with my coworkers or the boss and not in a million years I look for boyfriends in workplace. I’m not a saint but this is just the way I was raised.

3. I went home feeling sad but the rude little man from Freiberg and others like him will never change the way I am. The next day I was working at another company and chatting to my male and female colleagues. I just don’t see men or women, I see people. If they respect me, we can talk always.
Then two years passed and I was working with another company( amazing people, I worked with them for a long time but unfortunately they closed last year) and they sent me to work at Freiberger. I knew the little man didn’t want me there but I do what my boss tells me. I arrived at Freiberger and one of the first thing I saw was that man looking at me like “what are you doing here?”. I put my head down and went to work in a production line with a nice German woman who explained to me how to do the job, again it was an easy job and I did exactly what she told me to do. After a while, two of the rudest people from South America came to me screaming and literally calling me stupid and saying that they were having problems because I was not doing the job correctly. I politely asked them to talk to the German lady because she was the one who taught me how to do the job, they didn’t talked to her and again came to me screaming for a second time. Spanish is not my mother language and no coworkers at Freiberg knew that I spoke it. I always wondered maybe the little devil had sent them because I didn’t know those people and there was no reason whatsoever for such aggressive conduct. Again, I just worked there one day because little man thinks I am an easy woman. I don’t really care what he thinks, I was never unemployed because of him and I will never change the way I am just because of people like him. My country is a melting pot of cultures, including 11.000.0000 German descendants, and women and men grow up together playing football on the streets, we are used to treat men like equals. Little man must travel more, he may think that just because he toke a tour bus around Europe he already saw the world. He also may think that my bosses at the temporary job agency will believe anything Freiberg says. The people I work with for some time know exactly how serious I am about my job, and yes, I have proof that I have been at Freiberger.

1. Two years ago I was working for a temporary job company and they sent me to work at Freiberger Pizza in Berlin. The people I was working with sent me to Freiberg knowing that I would never disappoint them because I was one of the best workers at the company.
All what I had to do was to put some cheese in the pizza, an easy task for someone who has a certificate in Marketing and speak eight languages. In front of me were two young men from Africa.
