Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
There are absolutely no pros to working at Gerber Architects. They have an office in Berlin, but the only positive aspect is the city itself, not this office. Despite having many talented individuals on their team, the oppressive environment ensures that no one is encouraged or allowed to fulfill their potential.

Without a complete overhaul of those in the highest levels of leadership, there is absolutely no hope of the company improving. The current management is entrenched in outdated and oppressive practices. If Gerber Architects has any future, they should look to their staff, many of whom are extraordinarily talented and could, in the right environment, be exactly what the company needs.
The firm must start listening to younger voices and diverse perspectives, moving away from the mindset that oppression is the only form of management. The untapped potential within their workforce is immense, but it requires a supportive and inclusive atmosphere to flourish.
Until Gerber Architects embraces these changes, they will remain stuck in the past, unable to adapt or progress in a field that demands fresh ideas and forward-thinking approaches. The current leadership's refusal to evolve is a significant barrier to the company's success and reputation in the architectural world.

No respect for work/life balance. People are unhappy, no one is proud of their job or who they are working for.

Employees are disrespected, talked down to with a stifling patronising atmosphere.

The general staff is full of many wonderful people, however, the work atmosphere is so dismal there is no desire for camaraderie or meeting outside the office unless to complain and discuss your best route to leave.
Work-Life-Balance
Over hours need to be approved in advanced by management, as very often over hours are not foreseen until the day of, this system allows for a loophole.

The tasks themselves could be fine if there wasn't complete and oppressive control and poor taste going in to all aspects of design.

A strategy appears to be hiring non Germans in order to pay them less. There is a strategy to make meeting with the boss impossible and never have performance reviews in order to not be able to ask for a raise.
