I feel like my opinions and efforts are valued. The company strives to make their employees feel empowered. While I can only speak from my experience, I can confirm that this is true. Additional trainings are encouraged and regular feedback meetings give room for guidance and growth.
Kommunikation
Like everything in life, there is room for improvement, especially when it comes to communication. That's not to say that communication is better at other companies. I feel that you can speak freely and always clear up misunderstandings easily, which is most important! My co-workers are approachable and I know who to reach out to when I require assistance.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
I feel supported and encouraged by my team. If I have a question or require assistance, my team is always happy to assist me. For example, when I am on sick leave, they will support with my time sensitive work assignments in the lab and vice versa.
Work-Life-Balance
Flexible working hours (around the core times), as well as home office days provide great balance. Working from overseas is also possible.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
I can only speak from my experience but I would describe my supervisors as supportive, encouraging and, most importantly, kind. They always listen when ideas are shared or when assistance is required. They provide guidance when needed and try their best to make time for their employees. Communication within the core team is seamless.
Interessante Aufgaben
I find my tasks interesting and I feel empowered to explore further possibilities (e.g., trainings or seminars) with the approval of my supervisor. My supervisor also trusts me to take on tasks and assigns them to me where they see fit.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
A good representation of all working generations is shown in the high level of collaboration. We learn and support each other with work-related topics. Mutual respect and openness is always given.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Good benefits, work-life-balance and on campus cantines/cafés. Work-related events and social engagements (e.g., PRIDE-parade, fun runs) are available.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
I think that the company is moving in the right direction and strives to be pioneers. However, more action and tangible difference is still lacking. More transparency and collaboration is required.

In this day and age, working in the chemical industry is not easy, especially when it comes to the environmental impact. Henkel strives to make a difference, and this is lived out within every department. Nevertheless, the company is well-known and is represented on a global scale, owing to its good standing and interesting history!

I feel encouraged grow within my role. I am given the necessary tool/trainings and feel supported within my 1:1s with my supervisor. The company offers many opportunities across various sectors.
