In my area of responsibility the colleagues are working towards one direction, having the same target. Information is flowing across the globe and also some friendships are created
Work-Life-Balance
We are having flexible working times and in my department everyone can take their vacation whenever it fits best. We can also work from homeoffice a couple of days a week. There are great refreshing opportunities within the company such as coffee bars and also a lot of sofas and collbatoration areas where meetings and discussions dont feel like actual work.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
In the last ten years I had three different managers. All of them were very open in discussions, asking for my opinion, being transparent in their decisions and apprechiating my results and supporting me when confronted with challenges.
Interessante Aufgaben
The tasks are ranging from a lot of different topics and I can prioritise the focus within the major framework. I was putting on an interim position in adition to my normal job and it was great to see the teamwork and trust from Day 1.

Arbeitsbedingungen
A new building was built focusing on the Adhesive product development and technical service and also the office for the marketing staff was renovated last year. Every hight-adjustable desk has two monitors. It's free coffee on each floor and there are many different seating areas. Also there is a Tech Support for Laptops and Mobile phone on the campus which makes the IT - Life of each employee very easy.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
Henkel has been awarded as a sustinable company in the past and we are focusing on inititives which are reducing the Carbonfootprint or water consumption long-term. Also we are providing district heating in Dusseldorf and are purchasing sustainable energy. Furthermore, our solar panels are charging the car park for battery cars.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Salary comes in the last week of each month, the social benefits are manifold, the salary level is quite high.

Our good image and the reality within the colleagues is matching. Of course there are always some minor or bigger challanges and frustrations but this is the case in every company. Henkel is family owned and is also driving its business in a very human way.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
There are countless of online trainings available, but also on-site trainings are offered. Every employee is encouraged to join at least one bigger training per year. There are different offerings for different management levels and you have to be part of the ones of your level before you can be promoted.
