Interessante Themen an denen man arbeiten kann. Ich hatte freundliche Kollegen und Vorgesetzte.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Gehalt und Wertschätzung. Trifft überwiegend auf die HR-Abteilung zu.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
Mehr Wertschätzung für Werkstudenten. Gehalt ist sehr gering, trotz der Tatsache, dass gute Arbeit und schwierige Arbeit durchführt. Daran ändert sich auch nicht wenn man schon länger beim Unternehmen ist. Unterscheidung zwischen einem Bachelor und Master-Studenten wäre auch sinnvoll.

You come into contact with cars a lot and some of the staff can teach you a lot. In addition, a job here looks good on your CV.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
It is bad when, since the beginning of your work as a student, you are verbally offered a thesis over a period of 2 years, you agree on the topic, prepare it and it is cancelled just 2 weeks before it starts. Afterwards, they try to keep you in line with vague verbal promises for the next year so that you can work for another half year as an engineer for the minimum wage. In addition, I would not contact the works council if I had questions about this procedure, because it is hardly accessible and superiors accuse me of no longer being able to be trusted. Tip for students: Get everything in written form. Don't trust the verbal promises of your superiors, otherwise you will end up without a thesis and have worked for maybe 2 years for nothing.

The colleagues are very stressed. As a student, it's actually quite pleasant.

The image of the company for outsiders is mixed. The departments differ greatly in terms of working conditions, content of work and the behaviour of supervisors, which is why Hyundai enjoys a bad or good reputation as an employer, depending on whom you ask.

Work-life balance is usually very good because of flexitime. However, you are contacted for urgent projects on weekends or days off and overtime (sometimes weekend work) is required.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
The site itself no longer develops many relevant technologies (these developments have been outsourced to Korea), but serves mostly to benchmark European vehicles and adapt Korean vehicles to the European space. Many topics are only dealt with superficially and recorded in PowerPoint. Further training is possible in principle, but due to the constant PowerPoint outputs it is not possible to develop one's expertise on real projects.

When you're sitting at a meal with colleagues and the supervisor joins you, suddenly everyone has to leave. I think that speaks for itself.

The premises are modernly furnished, Good office workstations with modern computers, comfortable chairs, enough storage space. Security measures extremely slow down the responsiveness of the input devices, websites and programmes. Very nerve-racking, especially in the home office, when a click takes 2 seconds to be registered. On the positive side, lunch is free and usually very tasty.
Kommunikation
Communication mostly by e-mail. With one's own group and close colleagues works well. Within the company, answers can sometimes take a few days. Sometimes no response at all to emails.

Mostly, you work for superiors in the form of online research, Excel or PowerPoint, often you do set-up and rearrangement work. From time to time, you get a good insight into development work and are involved in evaluation processes. However, this is not enough to improve one's qualification/knowledge in the respective field.
