The company needs to improve its fundamentals. The project lacked proper setup, with no production plan, timeline, streamlined communication, or feedback loops. Information was only provided when explicitly requested, with no proactive knowledge sharing. The client was not managed well, no clear deadlines were set, and roles within the team were not communicated effectively. Additionally, the onboarding process was inadequate. Freelancers are not paid on the date specified in the contract. Invoices must be sent by post, as email invoices result in only the net amount being paid, without VAT included. This information was only shared after I specifically asked for it.
