I had a great time for a few years, now it's a hellish place since 2019

Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

home office was nice, the rest is too toxic. But always with a nice thick layer of sugarcoating and "ending on a positive note". Yum

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

the everyday lies and trying to gaslight everybody into thinking that "this is the way to go and totally normal". It's not. It's immoral, unhealthy and already harmed the company substantially. Rebranding names is NOT trying to improve things. Things seem to be quite corrupt.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

too much to point it out here, but first and foremost: concentrate on Games that are FUN to play and stop trying to create digital cocaine. Stop rebranding everything and pretending you really want to change anything. If I think about it, stop trying to make games. You are not good at it anymore. Pulling in more investors is probably necessary, but not what the main interest and business of a gaming company should be. Stop trying to cancel the german labour law secretly on the inside while pretending to be oh so pro worker on the outside. Approve the creation of a Betriebsrat or better to say, don't work actively against it. Stand by the "ethics" of MTG and allow INDEPENDENT Unions etc. etc. etc. etc.

non existant in reality besides trying to sugarcoat everything or crying secretly how bad everything is. Or even worse, "networking" to ruin your competitors

Work-Life-Balance

if you seem occupied and try to be in 4 or 5 meetings a day, you basically can call it a day after 3 hours if smart. You don't even need to work. Just sit there and nod and say "GREAT IDEA" or "LET'S DO IT" a few times. 5 Stars would be if you actually felt like you accomplished something substantial and then had a well deserved time off.

mid management are simple henchman, trying to rise to top as fast as possible, while the upper circle bunkers and is always right, no mistakes were ever made, they are the absolute best. You WILL be lied to.

Interessante Aufgaben

if you don't create your own, nonexistant. Copy&Paste, stealing from competitors and calling it Innovation.

not very well established here, as it seems also not on the monetary side of things, no matter what marketing and human ressources try to make you believe

if you have experience and no social conscience or conscience what so ever, you will be fine. If you have experience and try to establish long term goals for you and your team, you are not.

home office was awesome. Thank you Corona! Finally time to really work on something and get things done! It was different before 2020, but a lot has changed since.

Regarding your mention of unions and works councils, we’d like to clarify the legal context in Germany. Every employee has the right to establish a Betriebsrat (works council) in companies with more than five employees, and no company, including InnoGames, has the authority to oppose or prevent this. In fact, we are not opposed to the formation of a Betriebsrat, as it aligns with our values of fairness and transparency.

Additionally, while we strictly adhere to German Labour Law, it’s important to note that compliance with the law means balancing both employee and employer rights. Our aim is to operate within this framework while fostering a positive, supportive work environment.

On the matter of equality, we have implemented transparent salary grids for the majority of our employees, which ensure that compensation is based on role and experience, regardless of gender.

Finally, while we understand that your experience with us may have led to feelings of frustration, we strongly disagree with such characterization of InnoGames as "immoral”, “gaslighting”, “toxic”, “fake”, or “dishonest”, among others. These accusations are extreme and do not reflect the culture that we have cultivated. We are committed to fostering a great work environment, and we take pride in upholding ethical standards in our operations.
