Fast growth can cause chaos and this caused some people to struggle in the past. Hiring practices in the past sometimes focused too much on technical skills and not enough on insuring people's DNA fits the company. Management has recognized the importance of this in a company undergoing scale up and now makes great efforts to insure new hires truly fit with the companies values and mission.

40 hour avg work week with hard limit of 40hrs overtime, 30days vacation plus an additional day for every 2 years at the company. There is still a lot of work for everyone and is a place for movers and shakers and not more passive employees.

Arbeitsbedingungen
All employees have new IT equipment, for applicable positions up to 2 days home office per week regularly or for 1-2 week stints when concentration is required without disturbance. Mounters have their own new tools, locked boxes, working tables. Free coffee, mineral water, fruit & vegetables delivered 2x weekly with regular firm events like pasta club, excursions, etc. Sometimes the space is too cramped in the workshop due to rapid growth with limited space.

Switched to 100% green power in 2021, replaced plastic bottles for mineral water with water dispenser saving 10.000 bottles/year, Jobrad bicycle subsidizing, public transport is subsidized.
