I think the company did the right decision when trying to turn the company into an IT driven company - yet trying.
I like that k24 offers health programs like remote fitness or meditation and that they organized Covid-19 vaccination shots for their employees.

Do radically less projects in parallel so that employees at least have a chance to focus and avoid burnout; do drastically more innovation in regards to ecological aspects to become a game changer; provide more time/freedom for innovation and trying out new things in the context of IT to become a magnet for new talent
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Currently there is a lot of stress, pressure, many topics that need attention. This negatively impacts the work atmosphere. Also, the fact that managements expects employees to be back in the office is weird as the Covid situation is still more than present as well as difficult and intimidating for many people and families.
The late fresh air/outdoor summer party was a great idea though.
Kommunikation
The company offers an Allhands Meeting, but only once per month and without slides. In the past it got postponed very often. The meeting is long and hard to follow. There is a recording though. However, I would recommend a transcript to be able to search for and review specific topics that have been communicated.
Also there is an IT Allhands once per month, which is easier to follow and offers the option to ask questions in real time - it's more interactive.
It would be great if the company would put some efforts in company newsletters or similar for information that does not necessarily need to be communicated in a meeting like introducing newcomers, sharing business numbers/figures, introducing new company benefits.

The colleagues in IT are super. They help each other and stick together.
Work-Life-Balance
Vacation is usually accepted whenever the employee wants to go on vacation. If there is anything urgency with family, everyone respects this. Work hours are ranging in the normal area, but sometimes you have to defend your off-times. Sometimes meetings are schedule during lunch time, which should be avoided.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
The line managers try their best and you can have a good link to them. However, it can easily happen that they are flooded with meetings and tasks so that it is almost impossible to reach. Also here we have the issue with too many projects in parallel again. Project requests from management should be blocked or replace current priorities.
Interessante Aufgaben
In general the projects would be interesting if it was possible to focus on them and there weren't so many of them.
Gleichberechtigung
Within the IT, employees are treated/approached/talked to etc. equally. However, this can be different in other departments. I rate this category lower than I would as the office building is not suitable for handicapped people. There is an elevator, but it's broken too often. Also the building has extremely heavy iron doors on the hallways - no idea how a person in a wheelchair would open them.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
I don't see a differentiation between young or old colleagues.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Management plans/tries to execute too many projects. The departments are not aligned in their projects and priorities. Unfortunately it's barely possible for IT to focus on 1 or 2 projects and stay up-to-date with new technology/explore/innovate in parallel.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
As an automotive company the ecological footprint is difficult. The company tries to go into the right direction. For example, they offer company bikes. However, I would wish for more involvement when it comes to ecological innovation. We can do more meaningful things than sponsoring one of Berlins soccer clubs.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
The salary is ok and the company offers company pension.

I think the image could be better. It seems that the longer an employee worked for k24, the better they like the company.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
The company offers a training budget per employee. Every employee is encouraged to use this budget. As usually in Berlin companies, the hierarchies are rather flat. Therefore, I would say, the career options are limited.
