Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Good, new, and well maintained equipment.
Christmas parties and events were nice.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Non transparent communication.
Hollow platitudes to appease employee and parent complaints.
Constantly put in high stress situations detrimental to physical and mental health.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

Put effort into making sure your current facilities are functioning and fully staffed before opening more.
Appreciate good employees and actually listen to feedback instead of wondering why you can't retain staff.

You are constantly put in high stress and illegal situations due to mismanagement and understaffing. New Kinderzimmers open while the current ones are still dangerously understaffed.

Vital information is regularly sprung on you last second and severely impedes your ability to do your job. Parent and employee feedback and concerns are ignored.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

Kinderzimmer has/had a lot of good employees that work well together but quickly loses them due to the working conditions. High employee turnover.

Work-Life-Balance

Work schedules are good in theory but constantly change to do understaffing. Personal life suffers greatly due to stress from the work.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

High management turnover. Facility management are constantly caught between the pressure of the main office and employee dissatisfaction.

Interessante Aufgaben

You are given the freedom to design the classroom structure how you want which is good. I don't perceive the workload to be evenly distributed however, the motivated and good employees are shouldered with more work while others just don't show up. There is also the expectation/necessity for all to have the same workload/responsibility despite having a different/lower position.

Gleichberechtigung

All are equal, whether Praktikant, English Speaker or Erzeiher all are expected to do the same job whether title or education allow it. You are all just bodies in the room.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

A lot of the employees are young or straight out of training. I found there to be hollow or no appreciation for how long/hard you have worked there. Hence why they find it hard to retain staff.

Arbeitsbedingungen

Everything is all new and maintained.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

They talk a big game with social projects but they are rarely implemented to any meaningful effect. It's all just hollow words for P.R and Instagram.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

The pay is average I guess, but those paid less in lower positions are performing as qualified Erzieher with no finanancial compensation or acknowledgement.

Kinderzimmer has its reputation for a reason, everyone knows it puts a lot of effort into its image and advertising but I have not met a single employee that has a good thing to say about them. There is a lot of resentment towards how much effort they spend on their image instead of creating an actual environment that the children and the employees deserve.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Training and extracurricular tasks are offered on paper but rarely implemented or supported unless it directly benefits them. E.G so they won't legally get in trouble for having unqualified people in sole charge of a classroom.
