a. Establish channels for regular employee feedback (not yearly survey)

Arbeitsatmosphäre

Colleagues are generally high-skilled with many years of experience. Most of the colleagues are focused on problem-solving for the clients and are generally keen to provide wholistic solutions. Lot of self-motivation is seen in colleagues at work. Hybrid work contracts possible.

Kommunikation

Regular email and town-hall meetings are conducted to communicate the key updates of the company, changes in policies and corporate social responsibility.

Good work-life balance in general, also depends on the project.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Most of the managers were individual contributors and then got into management track and are often found lacking training to handle teams. The coaching or support system is not available or not enough for managers. Company has long hierarchical structure with overlapping responsibilities. Almost all decision-making and approvals are done at higher layers in management. There is a huge improvement possible.

Interessante Aufgaben

KPIT is pre-dominantly a service partner and naturally tasks depends on the project you are working and client. On general note, their any many interesting opportunities for problem-solving in a year. Their is a focus on automation for repetitive tasks.

Gleichberechtigung

Employer does not discriminate. All are treated equal in this sense. There are more than 15+ nationality colleagues working harmoniously.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

Most of the older colleagues are approachable and flexible. I am unaware of benefits for long serving colleagues other than getting a certificate and box of chocolates in town-hall meetings.

Arbeitsbedingungen

Working conditions are great. Spacious rooms, good seating, dual monitors, free coffee, well-maintained, optimized lighting and in good area. Limited food options near by, would appreciate if management bring some subsidized canteen or at minimum a vending machine. Many employees have asked in town-hall meetings, but lacks proper attention. Once in a while, there are hiccups with temperature control.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

Company is actively focusing on sustainability aspects and yet to reach full-potential on this topic. Vehicle charging is available at no extra cash in company parking area. Environment and climate protection topics also comes in casual group conversations, I think many actively aligns for greater good of society.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

I think the employer is relatively a pay master in the automotive software domain. Most of the employees actually does more work than the role responsibility, so I think the salary compensation is apt. On benefits side, I do not know what employer offers. I am sure there are many, but employees get to know only when enquired.

Its a relatively premium company in India, but in Germany, not many are aware despite the good work done by the company. I think marketing team focus is not aligned in general. (missing right spaces)

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Career progression lacks transparency and training requirements are often disregarded. Despite seeking the clarity on career path, supervisors mostly provide vague answers.
