Terrible culture, very chaotic, poor communication at all levels. There's no focus or direction overall.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Not great, the mood is low and people aren't happy with a lot of things. Everything is always critical and stress is usually at crazy levels.
Kommunikation
Probably the worst of all points here. No matter how much people mention this internally, but there's no alignment between projects inside the company, so everyone is always pushing for their own thing.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Everyone just wants to get their stuff done at all costs. It's survival of the fittest in a lot of cases.
Work-Life-Balance
It's claimed to exist, but if you're working 10+ hours a day plus weekends, that's just impossible.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
It was the first time in my work life that I've been in a meeting room with people shouting at each other. This is seen as normal and even expected sometimes. Attendance to meetings is tracked, with absences marked with a reason (holiday, sick, child sick) in publicly open meeting notes.
Interessante Aufgaben
None. Tasks are pre defined, you have very little room to go around any of that.
Gleichberechtigung
Filled with middle aged white men. The female quota is on the usual roles of Marketing, HR, Finance.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Surprisingly there's still people from way back in the beginning of the company. There's people from all ages.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Pretty bad. Weekend work is apparently "voluntary", but when communicated to teams, it's demonstrated as expected. Then there's all the issues with software and hardware. Nothing ever really works. From your local machine, to release pipelines, to testing. You're still supposed to somehow get things done.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
Another case where I'd give 0 starts or less if possible. It doesn't matter how much MBition or Mercedes claims to be going carbon neutral, or about electric cars. People fly up and down the country on a daily basis. Social activities are simply modest, at best.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
The perks aren't bad, but nothing other places won't offer. Salary is claimed to be in line with the market level, but you can definitely get more somewhere else. There's also only one chance per year to get your salary reviewed. Could be longer if you start somewhere in the second half of the year.
Image
I had a nicer impression from the outside, as what they do is very interesting. But from the inside the cracks are very evident very quickly to any newcomer.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
You'll be lucky if you have a manager that actually has the time to talk to you about your career. It didn't happen to me at all in the time i've been there. Not once.
