Remember where you came from and what you once were. Openess, transparency, fostering initatives and caring more about employees than about stakeholders.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

strongly depending on the product you're working on. If you stay in your silo of product or so called ART, you'll be doing fine. As soon as the so-called company "leadership" is getting involved you just want to leave.

Kommunikation

The weekly info meeting gives management the opportunity to tell a lot while not saying anything. Critical questions are no longer welcome. By now there is no trust in the management and transparency is mutated in a feared buzzword. Given the massive success of the Mercedes-Benz Group in Germany, the only minimal raises and the team-downsizing indicate a certain mismanagement. The strong feeling arises that the focus is Portugal and they subliminally try to shut down the locations in Germany by not creating any incentives, like raises to match inflation.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

Between staff it is very welcoming, warm and easy to get along. Helping each other and trusting each other without hesitation.

Work-Life-Balance

It's great to be honest. Nobody is forced to work in the office and nobody is forced to stay at home. Also there are no fixed working hours as long as you do your job within the legal boundaries.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

At least from my side and what I experience when exchanging with coworkers there is no trust in the managing directors any more. There is no transparency, but excuses and explanations without deeper insights.

Interessante Aufgaben

I would love to say, that the demands by MBAG increased, but truth is, that negotiations between company leadership and MBAG are at an level, where budget is decreasing and therefore budget is missing for teams to pursue their own ideas. Therefore it feels like one can only work on MBAG driven topics.

Considering previous companies I can assure that IT and office management are doing an outstanding job in supporting and enabling their colleagues

"Let's plant a tree" or "help the animal shelter by helping setting up their booth" …

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

You get a yearly raise, but according to CEO/CFO you are a top performer if you get up to 3%. This does not reflect your role, promotiong and/or so-called role changes, inflation, product success or long-term loyalty.

In Protugal the company surely has a great image, in Germany it's behind its sister "MBTI"

Karriere/Weiterbildung

You get a budget for your self-improvement and Udemy Business for free. This budget can be used for books, courses outside Udemy or for visiting conferences. Role changes incl. promotions might be possible, but the opportunities are very limited and esp. in Germany it does not seem to happen quite often.
