Arbeitsatmosphäre

Very nice and motivated colleagues. Even in corona times remote offsites have been initiated, team evenings, wine-tastings ... on a team level but also on a company level!

You get so much flexibility - During corona lockdown times it was possible to easily take additional payed leave to take care of your kids. With Flexitime you as well have all the time the possibility to organize your day flexible.

Talking about flexibility - the New Normal "rules" have been communicated just recently. As soon as corona will make it possible we'll be working hybrid, meaning upt to 80% can be spent remotely. Of course, 100% flexibility would have also been nice, but in the communication it was said, tha we'll act agile meaning, we'll iterate: starting with 20/80 with the possibility of moving to 100% flex hybrid work.

Kommunikation

I need to admit, this could be better. The company is lacking a tool to communicate, post, share, ... information ...especially where you can easily find the info again.

Confluence, Jira, Teams, Outlook - all options, but not yet the right one in there to communicate sustainable. Hope to have some optimizations here soon!

Weekly there is an overall company meeting where infos are shared - this could be used even more by the management team to communicate things which are currently going on

Work-Life-Balance

50/50 - you have the flexibility to organize your work/life like you need it, BUT there is so much going on right now, that a lot of colleagues are working too much, feeling pressured - I think dealing with OKRs in another way could support the company to focus more and also support the employees in working on the right things with the right focus instead of "doing everything at the same time"

Vorgesetztenverhalten

In 2021 the MDs changed which brought insecurity and change but also good new intentions and drive in the company. Overall I feel that Leadership-roles are too much caught up in operative daily things, Projects, OKRs, etc. - and therefore can not really focus on their leadership role. Would love to see that change in the future. But all in all like stated above: great people around and therefore also the collaboration with leadership roles is great. You are being taken serious and you are being heard!

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

There are roles like social responsibility and wellbeing ambassadors who organize trainings, give regularly input on those topics. I think more could be done, but due to the pandemic I assume a lot of things we did in the past, e.g. joining a shelter, was not possible.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

yearly performance based salary review in line with salary bands which are in line with your seniority. Overall it is checked which impact you're having in your main role, but also on the company itself, e.g. by an additional internal project/role.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

There is a career model and you have flexible options for trainings. I would suggest to communicate more about it, explain it deeper and maybe add some details so employees understand better which career options they have in their respective area
