Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
The solidarity between the employees is really excellent.
Good work hardware (Laptops and Monitors). Cool (mostly empty) office in a good spot.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
The relationship between employers and employees is not good. There's a lack of cooperation between departments and higher up, which negatively impacts the overall work environment and productivity.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
Transparency in every matter: Salary, Projects, Investor stuff, What other departments do...
Especially with the current insolvency going on the transparency has gone down to almost zero. Maybe people would be a but more in clarity and motivated when they would know more. The future is very unclear and we steer into dark waters.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
We (at some point) were highly motivated employees, we wanted to go forward as company and see what lies beyond the horizon. Mostly due to a massive amount of the following key points this was doomed:
- Massive in-transparency
- A lot of work behind closed doors which only certain people (should) know of
- Not knowing what other departments even do when they work
- No exchange between departments
Most of the times the "important" and not so public stuff is only shared when you talk directly with other people and they mention something which might be important to the whole company. However almost all important points are left out of meetings and are only known to certain people.
Kommunikation
Communication between departments and the heads of the company are really low.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
We as employees are greatful for each other and the work between us is excellent. I really like my colleagues and the team is great.
Work-Life-Balance
Our chiefs sometimes "joke" about a so called work-work balance. This is really inappropriate from a employee perspective. I hope for all other employees that they don't work more than they are contracted for.
Btw: we do not even have a official time-tracking system for us employees.
Overtime without time-tracking is expected. As far as i know this is not even legal. Currently most of the employees do not have much to do and have a lot of free time, which is nice.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
For other departments the heads are really good. But this is department depended.
Interessante Aufgaben
We tend to do all ourself. Which i see difficult. Currently the company wants to do tasks that are not our central business, but the partner companies are not really cooperative.
Gleichberechtigung
We do not really have a lot of women in head positions. Other than that salary transparency is almost zero. But this is normal for a german company, i would have expected more from a startup that wants to handle stuff more open. Some departments work on commissioning basis.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
We have a very young team and the handling with older employees is very fair and friendly. They do not have any disadvantages.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Modern hardware is given out to everyone. Our office is very modern. Sadly currently when you go there, you might be alone. The space is for almost 100 people. In the last months the usage of the office has gone down which is kind of sad. The motivation of people has gone down a lot.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
Publicly, we present a strong commitment to environmental sustainability, but in reality, it's more of a marketing strategy than a genuine effort. Stuff is done on a most-cheap perspective and not a environmental friendly perspective.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Additionally to our salary we have EGYM, to which Numbat grants a high substitution so it is very cheap. Salary is OKAY. I would earn more in a different company. Some employees have been gifted a certain portion of the company, but not all have this. Who has it and who does not is a great mystery.
Image
The image to the outside world is good. Very "environmentally friendly".
Internally it is more a company with a goal of the quickest return of invest.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Some internal education is offered but not much. Internal steps to higher positions are very very limited, if any. Higher positions are mostly already taken and fixed.
