Verbesserungsvorschläge

1. I suggest every company building international teams to read Factfullness Book written by Hans Rosling and have a workshop on it. Especially managers and teammates working with internationals. This might enlighten ignorants little brains and helps how not to make generalised assumptions about people’s life. This will eventually help ignorant colleagues who have never lived outside their country or EU and consumes only news as the source of knowledge to not ask stereotypical questions in social setup. This will not leave room for micro-aggression for employees who have to deal with these ignorants -- improves employee retention in my case and helps people like me to live sane.

2. Suggest managers to work on verbal appreciation which would motivate employees and develops sense of belonging towards the company. Critical feedback alone will not make employees stay. Employees like to feel valued and appreciated. Only critical feedback can also be demotivating.

3. Work on team bonding which also helps in creating sense of belonging

All my above suggestions could improve employee retention and happiness. Good Luck!
