Dictatorship and censorship
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Adequate salary, most expenses get paid (either trips during work or travel expenses, good food at work. Good atmosphere between coworkers, if the German management gets involved though, it is hell.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Working overtime NEVER gets paid, even when there are a lot of extra hours, most of them are also obligatory e.g. during releases. Workers are forced to take holidays when they want to go on a legal strike, Greek employees are obliged to take presentations, when invited to work some weeks in Germany, and get mocked on stage from the bosses for not learning something that their bosses only presented to them 2 hours ago. Also, making presentations in front of a crowd is not in their job description. The “king” there - CEO, doesn’t want to hear any truth about the workers working conditions, even if they are really told with the intention to make the job more efficient, and “friendly” dinners are just a chance for the CEOs and co. to tell you that “if you want to be a part of P&I, there is no 9:00-17:00”(even though that is what your contract says!!) and “the job should be your first priority”. If there is a chance you disagree and let them know on these “friendly” dinners, next day you get fired. Ah, and workers are urged to show pleased with the business even after 6 workers get fired, and are threatened that if they don’t show happy faces, the whole department will close down.
