Hat bis 2023 bei Picnic GmbH Office in Düsseldorf gearbeitet.

Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Unfortunately my experience was so negative, thought about this point for a while and did not find anything! sad!

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

- Discriminative and bully environment
- Too much gossip and dislike among colleagues
- Not welcoming for the new joiners
- Aggressive communication is very normal (Guessing due to high work pressure?)
- Team lead do not support when you are discriminated or bullied
- Hierarchical structure
- NO PERMANENT CONTRACT! they dont write in their job ads, but they only offer 1 year contract and constantly remind you about it to put more pressure and make you work more hours and have more stress
- Low salary and almost no benefit (part of Deutschlandticket and unhealthy lunch at the office!)
- No feedback culture, there is a biannually feedback cycle, everyone comes out of it crying! and due to 360 feedback model, my senior team members bullied me to get personal information that I don't share in work place saying: "you should be more open about your personal life because your team also gives feedback in your contract extension feedback session"
- Can write much more, but this should already be enough to avoid this workspace

!!!Important to mention: during 6 months with my team at Picnic -> my manager and 1 team member had *burnout* for a long time and could not return to work, 1 person resigned due to pressure of work and lack of career advancement opportunity after 2 years with Picnic and 2 were fired!!! YOU JUDGE!

Verbesserungsvorschläge

Mindset is traditional and there is no transparent communication, also in no means a flat hierarchy!

Kollegenzusammenhalt

Dutch colleagues don't like German ones, Germans don't like foreigners, and don't blend with them. Even hard to work with them if you are not German!

Work-Life-Balance

They expect you to deliver more than 60 hours of work without any over time nor overtime compensation, so you manager be mad at you for working after hours and still expect you to deliver all her funny ideas from this afternoon's meeting till tomorrow!

Vorgesetztenverhalten

No positive feedback - Also no constructive feedback - they have this scary biannually feedback cycle, everyone coming out of it crying! Whats the point of so much pressure?

Interessante Aufgaben

There could be, but due to micromanagement you don't really get to decide what you are doing, you just have to say: YES SIR!

Gleichberechtigung

In lower management level yes, but in higher management and C level you barely see a woman, non European or Queer!

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

They don't like hiring people after a certain age!

Arbeitsbedingungen

You have a Dell Laptop and an iPhone, if its a must for your position, however no support for home office setting and its so loud and crowded in the office, no one can focus and everyone who can afford it, buys Bose headsets..

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

No trash segregation - merchandise made of unsustainable material - lots of plastic usage etc.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Had to negotiate a lot, salary was not enough for amount of stress and work expected from employees (after hours/ weekends) - Deutschlandticket which was paid only partially, there was warm meal everyday which was unhealthy and made from cheap ingredients, some colleagues would even bring their own home cooked meal!

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Many people left after some years since the career development was happening in an irrational way, for example: an analyst with no People sense or skills, was promoted to head of Recruiting while expert recruiters with high sense of people and leadership were bullied out of the company!
