The culture is to be continually controlled. External consultants are hired to take on this job. An external consultant is more valued and trusted than your own employee. The consequence is that you are in constant stress just to meet the goals and expectations of management. As a result, the external consultants have no respect at all because they always have the upper hand. This meant that I could no longer sleep at night because I sometimes thought that I hadn't done enough to be able to present the progress of my work in the next status report. Culture of complete distrust of employees

There is no onboarding. After a week on board you should know everything, be able to do it and understand everything. If you have any questions, you won't get any answers from management because the VP Head of Accounting and Tax is not up to the professional requirements even with the topic that needs to be dealt with technically. Due to the professional overload, she is hiding behind the knowledge of expensive consultants and tries to keep the employees stupid and ignorant. The exchange takes place via a thousand open point lists, which are updated daily but do not add any value because the VP does not coordinate who has to do what and when. She is an absolute misfit in the company. You're lucky if an employee can help you a little, as a lot of employees who still had some knowledge of the past have left in the last six months. The rest of the employees are new themselves and are trying to somehow find their way in the chaos.

Since many colleagues were replaced and are therefore new and trying to find their way in the chaos, the cohesion among colleagues was very good. All colleagues are very friendly, helpful and supportive. That's the only positive thing I can say about this company

Unavailable. Endless open point lists that are kept, when must be completed/completed by when, constant checking of the work progress, both in terms of subject matter and time by external consultants, is normal for a 12 to 14 hour day. Above all, the work is made more difficult by the fact that neither the structure of communication nor the division of work, i.e. the process management by the VP Accounting and Tax, is present. This mismanagement means that you sometimes have to search forever to find the right data/documents. I have never experienced a company like this that still has such catastrophic filing control over the respective topics

If you ask questions and want qualified answers, you've come to the wrong place at VP accounting and tax. She is an excellent boss. At first everything seems very friendly and happy. She is completely incompetent. For a company that still prepares its financial statements according to German accounting standards (HGB) and has stakeholders interested in the audit, she neither speaks German nor has any knowledge of German accounting (HGB). And this is supposed to be a superior from whom one can learn something? She doesn't even understand international accounting. When questions are directed to her, they are brushed off with a silly smile.
A professionally ticking time bomb. Furthermore, the employees are technically better at what they can do than the VP, the technical perfection for her position is beyond her ability. This is strictly prevented so that the CFO and especially the CEO do not notice how weak this manager is.
