Arbeitsatmosphäre

ProVeg team is very motivated and it's a pleasure to work with colleagues from all over the world, who stand for the same values and share the common vision of the world. The leadership is very receptive to feedback and always tries to hear and react on the expressed concerns of the team in the best possible way.

Kommunikation

Communication streams have clearly improved since I started working at ProVeg 2 years ago. There are many communication channels to keep the team up to date with the focus areas of different teams and their successes. However, Corona pandemic that forced the team to work mostly from home is limiting the number of informal communication opportunities between colleagues and it sometimes feels harder to connect with each other.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

The collaboration with colleagues is very respectful and there is a good atmosphere, where you can always ask for help from others. The atmosphere is rather collaborative, as we all have a common mission.

Work-Life-Balance

I am working full-time, however, there is a lot of flexibility when it comes to arranging my workday the way that suits me the best. The core hours with regular meetings are fixed, but besides that, I decide if I start working early in the morning and I finish earlier, or I start later and finish my day later in the evening. The HR team was very supportive during the pandemic and is always making sure that the team is coping well.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

I have a good relationship with my manager and feel supported in my work. I trust the leadership and their best interest in leading the organisation.

Interessante Aufgaben

My tasks and projects broaden up in the past two years and offered me a lot of opportunities to grow professionally. There is a strong focus on professional development at ProVeg and you can always discuss your tasks and projects and their distribution within your team with your manager.

Gleichberechtigung

There are many women in leading roles (team heads, country directors) and I feel gender does not play any role when choosing someone for promotion or career progress.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

The ProVeg team is quite young, averaging somewhere around 30-35. However, there are also exceptions and some colleagues have worked for ProVeg long term for years.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

The environment and it's protection is a big topic at ProVeg, as it's also one of the reasons for our activities (pro-environment is one of ProVeg's pro's). The team is encouraged to use environmentally friendly means of transports when possible and the office management is also very aware of the "green office" topics.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

The salary is definitely below what the market offers for similar roles. For me personally, it's sufficient at the moment as I don't have too many expenses. In case something on that side changes, I would not hesitate to ask for a raise.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

ProVeg offers an annual training budget that can be allocated depending on the individual training needs and career growth orientation. The career path and individual professional growth are discussed regularly in the performance review meetings together with the line manager, which helps better career planning.

Thank you very much for taking the time to evaluate us here! I am very happy that you enjoy your work at ProVeg so much. As a negative aspect, you mentioned the relatively low salaries and we agree that ProVeg can still do better here. Whenever our finances allow an increase for the whole organisation we are doing so. We try to support employees with benefits like 1000 € every year for personal development, paid leave for training days, a dedicated budget for office improvements, Sodexo/Urban Sports/travel support, and office lunch/fresh fruits (unfortunately not right now due to Corona).
