Arbeitsatmosphäre
The level of trust from the upper management can vary from department to department. Home office was often seen as a way for employees to avoid working. During COVID, HR department reported infections on a almost weekly basis which did not create a lot of trust that appropriate measures to handle the situation were sufficient.
Kommunikation
Relevant information was given on a need to know basis. However, this was also due to the fact there was no trust between Line Manager to the team members.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Team members worked towards the company goals. A friendly atmosphere existed between colleagues within a team and between other departments.
Work-Life-Balance
As the department was severely understaffed, overtime was the norm. Accumulated overtime may be difficult to reduce due to 40hr/week.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
General lack of trust. Yearly evaluations not based on predefined goals, but the Line Manager's gut feeling instead.
Interessante Aufgaben
Interesting and challenging work, but not doable in a 40 hour work week.
Gleichberechtigung
On a company level, the equality was typical (only one woman on the management board). On the team level, several people noted that women were not respected the same way as men.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
There are older colleagues which have been with the company +20 years.
Arbeitsbedingungen
PUMA employees can make use of a fitness center and different health classes (e.g. yoga, mediation). The offices are nice and modern, however some offices have an open space concept.

Lately a lot of sustainability initiatives have been kicked off.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Due to the "Textil & Bekleidungsindustrie Tarif" the entry level pay for graduates is relatively low. It all depends on your ability to negotiate your yearly income prior to entering the company. Pay increases once you are in are more difficult to get. Promotions are very difficult to get and if they happen, it may take years longer than outside the company.

Similar to other competitors, the image perceived by the customer is good.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Personnel development very much depends on the goodwill of your line manager. Internal Training Programs are offered.
