Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

• Colleagues
• Flexible working time with mobile working
• Punctual payment

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

• High workload
• chaotic working due to lack of processes
• high requirements on employees but low performance of management

Verbesserungsvorschläge

• Mandatory trainings for management and team lead positions regarding German laws, bullying, sexual harassment etc.
• Install Whistleblower Hotline
• Promotion of more non-korean employees or install more non-korean leaders. (the korean mentality that employees are available 24/7 is disgusting)
• install processes for working (technically there are no processes installed and documented. The experienced employees are working according to the processes they know from the past)

Arbeitsatmosphäre

I did not get any feedback from my supervisor since years.
There is a two-class-society in two dimensions: 1st: korean-non korean 2nd: men-women. The worst at Q Energy is to be a Korean woman.

Kommunikation

Depends on the department and supervisor. For me, there is no information about results and achievements or any upcoming projects or issues.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

The majority of colleagues is friendly and supportive. Of course, there are some colleagues who are stabbing your back to improve their own position.
One example: a colleague requested information regarding a project at the evening. I informed him verbally (because he is sitting 5m away from me), that I will need minimum one day to evaluate and answer. Next morning he came with the managing director to my desk complaining, that I ignored him.

Work-Life-Balance

Depends on which side of the korean-non korean you are. Due to the korean mentality of the company and the korean management it is expected to be available during vacation. Some korean colleagues are working on weekends. People were working last Christmas, due to closing of a project.
On the other side: flexible working time and two days mobile working per week are standard.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Also depends on the department.
In my case... not existent.
Korean supervisors ignore their team and conflicts.

Interessante Aufgaben

The business itself is interesting, no question. It is also everything than boring. Each project is different and each project has their own issues and solutions.
The workload is way too much and the field of activity is given by you position. 3 stars only due to the workload

Gleichberechtigung

In general it is very difficult at a certain position for promotion. Most positions that have to report to the management are korean. The management prefers to speak Korean.
If I count correct, there is only one female teamlead. All other teamleads or head of departments are men.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

Due to the korean mentality of the management and colleagues, elder colleagues are treated with respect. The seniority is also reflected in the payments (higher seniority in the same position gets usually higher salary).

Arbeitsbedingungen

New and modern office building, but open office. It is hard to participate in calls or to concentrate to work, if several people around you are talking, mostly in different languages.
IT equipment is ok, once it is working. There are some access issues to software, but once it is solved, this point is ok.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

I am not aware, if there is any special way to protect the environment. Of course, the field of work is in "green energy", thus the company itself improves the environment.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

I think the salary level is market standard. There is a yearly salary increase process and in 2023 an energy-bonus of 1.500€ will be paid. There ate several social components (accident insurance also for private accidents, company pension scheme, monthly allowance for food etc.)

Most employees are unsatisfied and stressed. Main issue is the lack of processes and guidance of teamleaders / supervisors (not at all departments, but majority).

Karriere/Weiterbildung

There is no general process for promotion. You have to ask and fight for yourself as employee.
The only process is for salary increase, but nit promotion of your position.
