The work was exhausting for those of us who were not German, there were no conditions and no interest in allowing spaces for socialising and discussing the work processes. Having studies in the area of administration I could detect several problems in the production processes, and especially in the lack of clarification of information that was being given in my induction, when I tried to communicate it the first few times I was ignored with the answer to my questions that "the work should be well done" which is a truism. When the lack of communication started to be reflected in errors in the work and I tried to communicate again the need to clarify the information I received violent verbal insults from the people in charge and responsables. So I understood that there was no interest in dialogue about the processes, there was only interest in exploiting the foreign workforce to the maximum, as the work and working conditions of the German workers were much lighter.
It was very problematic that the main language spoken in my area, including the mother tongue of my direct colleague was a Slavic language with no possibility to communicate in any other language, not even basic English or German, which is totally understandable because of the current conditions of the Ukrainian refugees, but the company showed no interest in solving the language barrier for them or for me, nor in offering coherent solutions or options in communication.
