Joke of a team and total lack of structure and leadership. Avoid Central Services and Nexus at all costs.
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Literally nothing. A couple ppl were cool but that can be said everywhere in the world.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Everything
Verbesserungsvorschläge
Plan better. Train better. Stop firing with your eyes closed. Think before speaking.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
It's quite toxic and a lot of it was being pushed by the manager. He was always "well he did this he did that" while trying to make you work harder and forcing you to compare yourself to others and all it does is the exact opposite of try to inspire us to be better. It makes you feel like a terrible person and shows just exactly what is important to him.
Kommunikation
Ha! Hilarious. The only good communication I got was with teams that I had nothing to do with. This was a very "figure it all out your self" job. I had to beg for help here and my trainer did absolutely no "training". But instead belittled me at almost every chance he got. I mean, when I had a trainer, mind you. I was part of 2 teams and both teams I had no trainer. It was great.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
This largely depended. At first everyone is nice then you quickly realize you have to be careful whom you're sharing any information with then you just stop sharing.
Work-Life-Balance
Not great. I was often on call. And often times in an area I wasn't even trained in just so they could save money because I was already on call. This often limited my options on what I could do and made me stuck at home or never leave far from home.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
His tendency to speak at length overshadows a clear understanding or articulation of the subject matter while making lots of plans that nobody could follow through with. It was quite unrealistic. As if he talked for the sake of talking. His head was so far gone there was no telling where he starts and ends. He did nothing but talk and attend meetings with upper management and had no idea what he was even saying. He also plays the "I'm the boss so do what I say" card a little too much. I get the feeling it's a "I'm the boss who made it in Germany so I'm better than you" vibe. Which unfortunately isn't the 1st time for me. The product owner and scrum "master" were also quite fake and have spines made out of water. They were so quick to pretend to like you but making absolute sure the boss loved them 1st so they threw you under the bus the 1st chance they got. Speaking of them 2, they hardly did anything. The "Scrum Master" had no idea how to even do his job.
Interessante Aufgaben
Another rich joke. All I did was BAU tasks while nobody taught me hardly anything yet expected senior tasks from me (junior fresh out of Uni by the way). Being compared to a senior was a great feeling.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Half the people were honest and cool to talk with while the other half smile in your face and talk behind your back. It was a tricky game to play.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Comfy. Stressful, but comfy. Work from home was 4 days a week. It was nice but heavily overshadowed by literally everything else.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
It's RWE, what do you expect
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Was pretty good despite the company size but I'd rather be paid less and work with better people. According to the internet the total compensation was pretty on par with everything else and quite normal.
Image
Hmmmmmm a debatable topic. Personally, it's terrible and activists would agree for a different reason.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
You can learn more there but it seemed branching out wasn't a thing of this team as I heard from this team that the manager was unwilling to let you go and wanted to keep you doing what you were doing as long as possible due to the lack of force.
