The working atmosphere here is the worst I have experienced in my years of professional experience. My 2025 target is to find another job asap and leave this organization. The office feels dark and uninviting, terrible ambience, and feels more like a warehouse than a workplace. Upon entering, there is little sense of professionalism. The receptionist seems disengaged, and there is a general lack of organization. The seating arrangement is very poorly structured, resembling a typical call center rather than a professional office. Employees do not have designated desks. My point is that, even though there is a 40% rule, what is the problem in assigning a dedicated desk for each employee ? Do you expect us to fight for desks each morning ? how can teams collaborate and work efficiently when they cannot sit together on any given day ? A few high profile employees from finance and HR are just show off characters. Despite repeated requests to the HR dept., nothing has ever changed.

Not to mention the irritating All Hands conducted monthly which is just a waste of time.
Overall, the lack of structure and professionalism makes working here an unpleasant experience.

Communication here is completely unstructured. There is little to no coordination between teams, and many employees carry an attitude of self-importance rather than collaboration. When teams cannot sit together due to the erratic seating structure, how can it foster a good communication ? Additionally, the frequent use of slang words creates an unprofessional environment. Overall, the lack of clear and professional communication makes teamwork and efficiency extremely challenging. Communication is just a joke in this company.

I would describe the workload as average overall, though there are times when we have to work beyond our normal hours. The work here is quite hectic, and there seems to be no proper cycle time analysis to assess whether additional staffing is needed. Instead of hiring new employees when necessary, tasks are simply redistributed among existing team members, increasing stress and workload. Upon addressing our concerns, we only get threatened.

The management style here is highly discouraging. Employees are expected to follow instructions without questioning, and any attempt to address work-related concerns is met with pressure and negativity. There is little room for open communication between mid-level or junior employees and supervisors/managers, which creates a rigid and unproductive work environment. Also, the only goal of this company is to "achieve profitability". I mean, seriously ? this is just not a goal. Each company should be profitable. Otherwise why run the company ? The moment you join, you are told that they their main differentiator is customs clearance. What's so big about it ? any logistics service provider can do it. In addition to this,there is rampant firing of employees each year ( including 2024 and 2025 ), and they just cannot close a financial year without firing employees for no reason. When asked, they complain about budget problems.

There is little to no innovation or forward-thinking in this company. While other organisations focus on AI, machine learning, and the latest technologies with clear visions and ambitious goals, the discussions here revolve solely around profitability in 2025 with no clear roadmap or long term strategy. The prevailing mindset seems to be: "We have always done it this way, so we will continue doing it this way." Unfortunately, 90% of employees resist upskilling and prefer sticking to outdated methods. When anyone suggests modern, efficient ways of working, senior management dismisses it, stating that not everyone is comfortable with new technologies. This resistance to change is demotivating for ambitious and growth oriented employees, often pushing them to leave. It feels like the company has lost the positivity, momentum, and adaptability required to truly succeed in today’s fast evolving landscape.
