The atmosphere is quiet and distant amongst colleagues. For instance, even when in the office, I find that people would rather send a message/ticket rather than discuss the topic with you in person, or just to simply say hi.

Amazing office, wonderful coffee, outstanding work-life balance with flexible working hours.

The upper management has very low capabilities in personnel forecasting. Layoffs are followed by mass hiring. Amazing events are followed by letting go of the senior individual contributors. The amazing office is constantly shrinking and the concept is trying to be built again since it is originally too spacious and even with the theoretical possibility of having desks for every employee, it cannot do it. The efforts to bring the employees back to the office just slowly move to threatening with legal issues.

To provide clarity, our headcount has remained relatively stable, consistently ranging between 220 and 230 employees since the end of 2023. This reflects our focus on steady and sustainable growth, rather than any significant hiring surges. Over the past year, we’ve refined our recruitment strategy to align with these goals, ensuring stability for our team.

Regarding the office space, we recognize the need to adapt to our evolving ways of working. We’re actively rethinking how the space is utilized to better support our team, balancing remote and in-person collaboration. As we have only a 40% office attendance rule, we cannot designate a desk for every team member so we have a desk booking system in place which makes it more flexible and efficient for everyone.

I really enjoyed the people I've worked with and have met some of my best friends there. It's an ok place to land if your new here, other than that they don't offer much.

They can't last a year without firing people for "budget" reasons.

Treat your employees with respect and transperancy.
Consider getting rid of the whole office so you don't have to keep firing people.
Agree and communicate an actual vision for the company. "Reaching profitablity" isn't a goal. It's actually obvious unless you're a non-profit.

People speak well of each other. But being in touch with alumni; I've never heard someone say they regrert not working at Seven Senders anymore.

It started good with being flexible, then an office policy of 40% attendance was introduced with no real follow up which was good. Now, the 40% is mandatory with warnings and such. The company is obviously going down the wrong path.
That being said, the three stars are because my manager personally was understanding and supporting of our work-life balance.

Technically; the building is supposed to be "green". But honestly what's green about a huge office with no solar panels, people who don't properly recycle, etc.

The office is nice looking and flashy but in reality it's not as good as it looks. Harsh lighting, no real fresh air, some rooms are extremely hot in summer; rooms not as soundproof as we were led to believe, etc.

One minute the company says it's doing well financialy, the next they're firing 50+ people in one year for budget reasons. Lot's of all hands meetings but not really knowing anything new about the company.

Low salaries and literally zero benefits. They introduced some benefits in May and cancelled them now in January. Leave policy can be better. Flexibility slowly being taken away. You will literally be getting only your salary and maybe some development money while being forced in the office 40% of the time. If you absolutely need the job; then ok but other than that; there are better options.

Interessante Aufgaben

I was able to work on many intersting projects. However, I wasn't allowed to explore horizontally. And the biggest downfall was lack of consistancy. Mostly everything I'd worked on is now cancelled.

So far, the company has offered and given a relatively large amount of flexibility, although in some cases each team has decided for itself (unfortunately counterproductive given the number of employees if everyone does their own thing).

I have never experienced such cheeky and truly disrespectful treatment. This is a “workplace”, a company that operates economically, but there is a lot missing there when it comes to respect and professionalism. Maybe the CEOs should consider letting some people in leadership positions make these big decisions (better not if you have these type of people in your company). Or train them again in “how do I treat people respectfully?” completely miscast.

Toxic. People are ready to do everything to get to their goals. No work-life balance. No clear communication workflow. Everything needs to be done right away. The management is terrorizing employees.

Sending ad-hoc meeting requests, interruptint meetings, sending last minute requests is a specialty of Seven Senders. They even say it openly for last minute requests: i needed it yesterday.

People close to senior management are the only ones getting promoted.

No transparency with salary bends on management level. There is a yearly performance review withour salary increase. The whole process does not make sense. They offer development budget which is good.

After layoffs in 2023, people were afraid to step up since the decision for layoff was done by C Level and nobody knows what criteria they picked.

We acknowledge that last year’s changes affected the overall mood, but we’re encouraged that our engagement and happiness scores now exceed the industry average. We’ve implemented systematic approaches to improve open and transparent communication and are committed to continuous improvement in this area.

For example, during our all-hands meetings, C-level executives openly share company financials, strategy, and updates, with opportunities for all employees to ask questions—anonymously if preferred. Additionally, our internal feedback survey allows employees to share their experiences and suggestions anonymously, influencing company decisions. Based on such feedback, we’ve introduced a new benefits platform that offers personalized options rather than a one-size-fits-all approach lately.

We recognize that some concerns may stem from individual situations or misunderstandings. That’s why we encourage regular feedback exchanges through weekly meetings and one-on-ones within the team to create a better place to work for all of us.

Schönes Office, nette Kollegen. Es gibt wie immer Obst, Kaffee und Getränke aber am Ende nützt das alles wenn die Firma den Bach runtergeht weil die Atmosphäre nicht gut ist.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

In den letzten Wochen ist viel passiert, es gab viele Änderungen und ich hab das Gefühl, dass die Firma trotz aller Maßnahmen ertrinken wird.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

Bietet den Leuten welche noch da sind Boni / mehr Gehalt. Diese halten derzeit den Landen am laufen trotz ständiger Unterbesetzung. Sonst sind bald alle alten Hasen weg.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

Nachdem innerhalb von 1 Jahr knapp 70 Leute entlassen wurden, ist die Stimmung alles andere als gut. Vor allem nach der letzten Massenkündigung und „Umstrukturierung“ der Firma ging es rapide bergab. Die Leute, welche nicht gekündigt wurden, kündigen nun von selbst, weil sie keine Lust auf das Chaos haben und teilweise sehr unzufrieden sind, wie Dinge gehandhabt werden. Wirklich Mühe gegeben, die Kollegen zuhalten wird sich auch nicht.

Gehalt Teamintern eher schlecht. Es finden sich immer neue Ausreden/Gründe, wieso mehr Gehalt derzeit nicht möglich ist.
