Everyone was nice, thoughtful and helpful, I felt very welcome
The only thing I was struggling with a bit was the vast array of scheduled onboarding meetings and presentations that did not seem central to my work in the first months, I feel like I probably would have been better of onboarding more intensively within my team initially and have them advise me on which topics outside of the team I should have a proper onboarding presentation for, and only get scheduled for those presentations. Now it took a lot of time and energy - and most things that I learnt that were new for me, went a bit over my head because of all the information overload.
