Instead of leaving emails unanswered, consider communicating openly about potential delays. Keeping your employees in the dark only fosters frustration. Pay your employees and build trust through clear communication—it's a small step that can make a significant difference.
Zizoo thrives on unrealistic goals, creating a stress-filled battleground for employees.
Go ahead, check Trustpilot yourself
Holidays are a rare luxury and getting them approved feels like pulling teeth. The workplace is anything but family-friendly, with little consideration for personal commitments.
In summary, if you value your sanity and personal life, think twice before getting entangled with with them. Work-life balance is a distant dream.
Amidst the challenges the standout positive was the remarkable unity among colleagues. The team stuck together, making the workplace a bit brighter despite its flaws.
Decisions are made in the dark, breeding confusion and distrust among employees.
Customers endure financial mistreatment with double payments being an all-too-common occurrence. Refunds, once promised, are a rare luxury, leaving clients in financial distress. instead of selling boats you have to handle unhappy customers waiting for their money
Promises are empty, leaving employees drowning in disappointment and frustration. Transparency is nonexistent, revealing undisclosed depths that leave employees unpaid, their hard-earned income trapped in the shadows often involves dealing with lawyers, transforming the simple act of payment into a legal battle.
Targets are unrealistically high, making achievement nearly impossible. To add insult to injury, there's no inflation compensation or salary increase, leaving employees feeling undervalued. In a disturbing trend, employees in Berlin were laid off, only to be replaced by cheaper counterparts in Athens. This not only raises ethical concerns but also contributes to a toxic work environment.
Navigating holiday requests normally is a pleasant experience until it morphs into a source of frustration, especially when dealing with scammed customer
The core is rotten, like everyone else said. Broken beyond repair.
atmosphere is horrifying, people are clearly uncomfortable, it is not addressed.
Complete disregard for people’s boundaries. It’s clear that this has been the culture of the company for many years now. Lots of stress and LOTS of manipulation.
No balance. The leaders of the company, think that because they pay your salary they own you. Plus there’s barely compensation for extra time.
They talk the talk, but deliver LESS than NOTHING.
No ability for conflict resolution. Upper management is a joke, no real understanding on how to lead or treat people half-decently. Seemingly putting all their efforts at creating more problems than solutions. GASLIGHTING was invented by the CEO.
No respect towards workers. Its a complete FRAUD. Management constantly complains about personal problems and has no sense of
responsibility or diligence. Expect sympathy from workers while creating horrible conditions. TOXIC envoirnment. UNPROFESSIONAL, INAPPORPRIATE.
They lie to their costumers, they lie to their employees, they lie to their investors and they lie to themselves. Worst people ever.
No clear communication or no guidance from management. Very immature and unethical people running this place, always turned passive aggressive at any kind of feedback. Zero capacity to evaluate their actions. Zero intention for improvement and NO ACCOUNTABILITY.
Cheapskates of the worst kind.
Chaos
Generally incompetent
No idea what they are doing
Our managers are not qualified to lead, they do not accept any feedback
We are not motivated to even convince our leaders to improve.
"Fast paced environment" has never been so wrong
Your colleagues and the overall concept.
The management and all the mistrust and gossip.
Invest in your employees - they are the ones who help the company survive. Rethink your entire management. Invest in digitalizing your product.
There is little trust towards the leadership and a lot of pressure on every team member. Sometimes it creates really toxic dynamics. Managers need to go back and learn now to actually manage and motivate people. Hire and fire is not the right way to go. There is also public praise for individual, but usually this is reserved for people who are close to the management "core", it seems dishonest.
Sometimes the company is mentioned in articles, so I guess it is positive from the outside? Many people on the inside do not talk too well about the company, as they are frustrated with the management. Others love it.
Non existent. People who are not working overtime are seen as lazy. People are working from their vacation. You can never really relax. Working 100% although in Kurzarbeit, there is nothing else to add.
It could be more stars, but the way people are promoted is just unclear. It seems based on personal relationships rather than skills. Also there are no trainings or workshops. Little investment for growth.
Far below average for most of employees. Others receive way too much for the poor work they do. Bonus is not achievable for most people.
Not really eco friendly.
As everyone else said, the colleagues are the best part of this company. It is fun to hang out with them and also I had a lot of fun during my working time. This is the only reason it felt bittersweet leaving.
There are not older team members. Experienced team members leave after a short time. This company is a better place for young people with little experience.
The biggest problem in the company. The leaders are clueless and uninspiring. They lack good ideas and they compensate problematic times with micro management and threats. They should not be people managers.
Equipment was sufficient. Nothing special.
There are weekly updates on the progress of the company. Unfortunately, management likes to avoid uncomfortable questions, therefore it does not seem genuine.
The CEO is female, but the rest of upper manager all men.
It is a good concept and if you go the extra mile (more work) you can also change things.
People around are as helpless as I was and searching for a better opportunity. Most of us depend on international permits, that is the reason why we stayed for so long.
Managers should go back to school and learn that fellowship really means.
Don't try to make it up by writing unnecessary fake reviews. Change your managers and start being compliant.
Agree with everyone else. Colleagues are absolutely friendly and international. Easy to make friends.
Seems a fairytale and is more like a nightmare from inside.
Managers: they never learn. No matter how many complaints they have received for the past years. It looks like you don't have to deserve the position as long as you have a "fake" "good" relationship with the "CORE". That core is as mentioned by someone else before: rotten.
Qualified people: dont get trick by the positive reviews. This company is not complying with employee rights and furthermore, they do not value their employees. Many people left and I was the last to receive this information.
I love my colleagues, I meet them after work and we all make each other feel like there is something else apart from this job.
Kurzarbeit was dodgy and everyone working there knows what I am talking about.
great work environment
Staff retention
Most employees are under 40 years old.
Perfect for high performers and driven people. Decision making is very fast and you can have huge impact very early if that's what you're after. Innovation: Zizoo aims to digitilize an entire industry, following the steps of the hotel industry 10-15y ago. Potential: the company is growing fast and awesome talents are joining from larger big tech companies in oreder to be at the ground level of a cool company. Laid-back friendly culture. Benefits: Remote work, unlimited vacations, company boat trips.
Still typical cons of a small startup: some clunky processes and understaffed teams. Like for all travel-tech companies, covid has been rough. Although now the worst feels definitely behind.
Continue staffing the tech team with high-quality talents. Improve the recruitment process.
Colleagues and team spirit
Lack of management skills and toxic company core
Toxic company culture implemented by upper management. "Lower" team leads either protect their team and take the costs for it or don't care about their team at all.
People are treated like machines instead of human beings. It is urgently needed to not only pretend to worry about the employee's health, but to really do something for it. Exerting pressure on each other is supported by management, instead of working together efficiently as a team.
Low, even for a "Start-Up". Bonuses are calculated on targets that are almost impossible to achieve.
Very underdeveloped environmental plan regarding the company's age.
As everyone says, the colleagues are the best. So many talents and loyal people, unfortunately not appreciated.
"Young blood" is preferred, "older" colleagues (30) mostly leave voluntarily
Communication and transparency are really poor. Suggestions and ideas are taken as criticism and not welcome.
Very monotonous, personal development is not taken into account.
Toxic micromanagement
Treat your employees as they deserve. Your company exists because of them.
I want to just highlight the poor management culture coming directly from the team "leaders" and the way team operations is completely controlled by a very unqualified person.
So verdient kununu Geld.
