Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Salary. Teamspiri nin the closer local teams. Product trainings. Swag - swag is awesome!

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

No above-market perks or benefits. Top down managment. Too much managment. SEVP -> EVP -> SAVP -> AVP - > SRVP -> RVP -> SDir -> Dir -> Contributor. STREAMLINE THAT!

Verbesserungsvorschläge

Focus on employee wellbeing. Promote taking days off for wellness and wellbeing. Follow others who sponsor wellbeing by an extra day off a quarter. Think of making people not just numbers, but listen to them. Don’t base plans on your and management’s assessment. Talk to and listen to folks! Look at the attrition rate. Analyse wtf is going on and why people leave and what others promise them. Find ways where employees will trust their mgmnt chain!

Arbeitsatmosphäre

Ok locally. As soon as it becomes international, then a general lack of culture reveals incl. the inability to respect local customs, holidays, benefits, etx.

Kommunikation

Always top down - ALWAYS! Do what I say; take the training to understand why we do things and you must not communicate differently…

Kollegenzusammenhalt

Pockets of great people exist and keep the morale high.

Work-Life-Balance

If you’re not actively fighting for your right to have vacation, time off, weekends, etc.; you won’t have it. Managers do not really care about your time or your over-hours. The opposite is the case: in case you are doing overtime, you’re not good enough as you can’t get your job done within the time. CAREFUL!

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Good in technical sales, bad in account management. In account management, you’re a number generating number. Lack of mentoring and support other than: if you could close that deal, that’d be great!

Interessante Aufgaben

While the technology is very interesting, products are often release in their early stages, while some maturing would do them good. That make it difficult to do sustainable deals, as after the sell and during usage the shit falls apart once in a while.

Hard to say! Not many women, not many disabled, not many old

There is barely anybody beyond 40 .

Arbeitsbedingungen

Minimum corp laptop specs. No Homeoffice allowance, only fixed reimbursement of internet cost (never full rate), reimbursement of mobile phone. Offices are tiny.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

Some DCs don‘t run on Dalmatian puppies but green energy.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Salary is top due to espp. Other perks or benefits do not exist! No additional sick day coverage (lohnfortzahlung im krankheitsfall), 30 days vacation are marketed as benefit internally as law only foresees 24 days. Not perks such as health club membership, discounts at popular brands, etc.

Zscaler is still Zscaler, while the image starts eroding.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Internal trainings are mandatory, while time to do them is often an issue. While these are valuable product trainings and certifications, there ate no industry-standard certs, e.g. ISC2, SANS, etc.
